Williams has made a few solid plays this half.

:(

He's 0-9 shooting with 2 points and 5 rebounds in over 18 minutes.

Ridnour is shooting well but playing awful. Sometimes the stats aren't everything.

These refs are terrible.

D-Charge is terrible. 0-10 now.

Considering their draft positions, Malcolm Lee is a better player than Williams. So sad. :(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

And down goes Budinger lol. Looked bad, probably a torn ACL. Does this team have any luck at all? Jese. Well time to get on the phone Kahn. I guess we gotta sign Josh Howard, Redd or Pietrus

Alright well, only a twisted knee for Budinger but still who knows how long he's going to be out. I would say Pietrus is the best bet right now. Solid defender and can hit the 3 from time to time

Makes you wonder why Love and Rubio want to come back at all. We all know something bad is going to happen at some point anyway

every morning I wake up and before checking the scores I have to check the injury report!

Depressing. How does this happen? This team has more injuries than I've EVER seen in my life.

It's really sad, because this is a team that is well put together. These guys are so enjoyable to watch already without the two stars back.

How does this happen, daddy? Well, in Bud's case, Luke was blaming the Bulls for getting a little carried away and causing the injury. Personally, not sure on that. Any thoughts?

We've had the Love double-double streak and we've had some long losing streaks. I guess this is going to be about consecutive game injury streaks. Let's hope we don't hit 4 in Dallas!

That was nice when Luke was matching Robinson to keep us in it. The bummer was that we started to get to a point where the shot clock was hitting 5 seconds and he has the ball 30 feet from the basket. We went way to long for an important stretch where Pek was not getting the ball down on the block. I know Pek doesn't make 100% of his shots, but you got to go down there and try to get a bucket in the fourth when you are struggling to score. Someone has to recognize that sooner and give him a couple touches.

Another 3-pt gut punch from Nelly's Belly!

I guess Shved wasn't around last year when he was doing that against us in N.O. Hopefully Alexey learned that you can't give this guy much space and got to be very careful providing help D when he is your man.

I had to look back to see what Belinelli actually did against the Wolves last year.

January 7 in New Orleans:
Marco Belinelli 36 minutes, 8-14 FG, 3-7 on 3-pointers, for 20 points.

This was the game that I was remembering from last year.

March 10 in Minnesota:
Marco Belinelli 33 minutes, 4-11 FG, 1-2 on 3-pointers, for 11 points.

April 7 in New Orleans:
Marco Belinelli 25 minutes, 2-7 FG, 1-4 on 3-pointers, for 6 points.

So we actually played Belinelli better as the year went along.

----

Oh, and some guy named Wesley Johnson in those 3 games?

77 minutes, 9 points. And all those points came on January 7 when he shot 1-8 from 3 point land.

You mention Wesley Johnson when I'm already pissed, you get a negative karma. :evil:

I was disappointed by Pek's defense last night against Noah. Pek doesn't match up well with mobile players, I guess.

There were some bright spots...

DEFENSE:
* Williams played solid defense against Boozer.
* Kirilenko cancelled out Deng.
* HAM played Gibson solid.
* Stiemsma did his thing.
* Lee was solid.

OFFENSE:
* Pek was efficient.
* Luke made some shots.
* Lee stepped up and showed some versatility.
* Cunningham shot very well.
* Shved was decent.
* Kirilenko was crafty and made plays all game.

And some not so bright spots...

DEFENSE:
* Luke was typically atrocious. He needs to be off the court in the 4th quarter but we have no one else to play.
* Pek got destroyed on defense by Noah.
* Luke was terrible against Nate Robinson.
* Shved got sloppy coming off Bellinelli on help side and got punished with some 3s.
* Nobody chased Hamilton on the perimeter.

OFFENSE:
* Williams couldn't shoot. Literally. He got decent looks early but was just not making shots.
* Shved and Luke took some ill-advised long pull ups late in the game (and early in the shot clock).
* Stiemsma hit some shots at home last game and forgot his game is 8' in, not 18' out.
* Kirilenko also took some long 2s and 3s. He isn't shooting well from distance this year.
* Without Rubio, Love, Budinger, Barea, and Roy (5 of the best 7 offensive players this year) the Wolves don't have much offense other than Pek, Kirilenko, and sometimes Shved.

Tough with the injury to Chase last night. I hope his knee is okay.

How great is this, by the way?

5 of our best 7 players are out. We are 4-2. We just lost a very winnable game against a team that will probably end the season at or near the top of their Conference. And we're all pissed because we know that was a winnable game.

I love it.

Bring on Dallas!!!
