Great win by this injury depleted team but they obviously can't keep doing this forever. Of course the Injury to Pek's ankle is the one he injured last season. I have no idea man. I just don't understand how this team can go forward like this.

Holy crap how did we win that?!? I have no idea, but it looks like the Wolves are truly legit this year. And good grief, with all these freakin injuries!

It's a shame we don't have our full team out there yet. And geez, if Pekovic is out for any amount of time... I don't even want to think about that. Hopefully AK doesn't get hurt, because he's our MVP so far. Never would have thought he could play so well this season.

What a truly great win tonight. Shows a lot about the team, injuries and all.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

He was fine on defense, for the most part. He is just absolutely lost on offense. I feel bad looking at his face. He is so embarrassed, depressed, anxious...

Anyway, kudos to Shved and Lee for that D on Mayo. Both were making shots super difficult all night. I was not surprised in the first quarter to see Lee sticking to him but for Shved to have blocked his shot and harassed him into poor shots, that was unexpected.

Yeah, his D on David West was really impressive, i don't remeber who he was guarding today? Troy Murphy or something? I just wish he started with just playing daunte offense. He's so much more skilled then that, it'd probably be hard to accept, but cunningham 6 for 9 pretty much on open Js? that's efficient enough for me.

If Malcolm Lee can play that kind of defense consistently, he'd find his way into the rotation

Despite countless games attended, this was the first time I have ever seen the Wolves on the road. A good game to do such a thing.

-Weird to see the Wolves in away jerseys in person.

-It was very strange to root for the away team in an arena where the fans actually care. Kirilenko and Shved completely silenced this crowd last night.

-The PA announcer said "Juice" whenever OJ Mayo scored and "Dash" whenever Collison scored. But thanks to Malcolm Lee and Shved, such announcements were few and far between.

-AA Center is such a dramatically better arena than the ancient Target Center. The corridors remind me of an upscale shopping mall. Flat screen TVs everywhere. A radio feed in the rest room. Little things like that enhance the experience. Assuming the Wolves re-do TC, that will be huge for the Wolves.

-As for Pek, there are no words. I refuse to accept that this training staff is doing all that they can to identify injury risk and focus on prevention of such injuries. Sprained ankles may be an exception...sure....but this is too weird for comfort.

-The game itself, the Wolves benefited from terrible shooting from the Mavs. Good win regardless.

Oh man, what a joke. Malcolm Lee is starting!!! Oh man, this might get bad quick. Roy and Barea are out. So it goes like this:

Pek, Steamer
D-Charge, Dante, Lou
AK, D-Charge
Lee, Shved
Ridnour, Conroy

AHAHAHAHA! If they win, that's it. This team is championship bound.

Championship Bound!!!

I was watching NBA TV, where they are showing the 3rd OT between Utah and Toronto...they cut to the bench and it shows Charlie Villanueva for about 20 seconds while wrapping a towel around his face like he is about to rob the assistant coaches, old west style.

The comedy scale has just been shattered.

Doesnt Vill play for Detriot?

Wally, tell us a little more about the game experience last night. Were there other TWolves fans?! How pissy were the Mavs fans getting? Do they seem to have a scapegoat (I'm just assuming Vince Carter is)? How much better and better looking is their dance team than ours? These are all things I need to know.

My 2 cents on the game: It was AWESOME. How can you not love this team. AK, Shved, and CunningHAM continue to amaze game after game after game. Rick hates having to play DWill. Conroy is garbage. Luke continues to be unsung. We completely dominated the Mavs in the paint all night (scoring in there ourselves, and not letting them get in there). Lou playing over Steamer toward the end bothered me. With that being said, Adelman4COY. He must make a real point for the guys to have active hands on D, because it seems like we always have someone getting a hand on a ball and deflecting it. Hard to believe how good our D has been. This team is showing tremendous heart and poise. We should not take this for granted.
