The Hawks have been wanting to move Horford to PF and they are one of the 4 teams that D-Howard wanted to be traded to and would re-sign with. So that makes sense. And K-Lav would definitely want to be on the Lakers. It might not work w/o the Lakers involved because the Hawks could be nervous about trading for Love, considering he probably wouldn't want to stay there.

I'm only okay with this trade, if JSmooth makes a sign-a-trade. If not, he will be gone by next summer (Probably back to his buddy DH12 in Atlanta, who would be crazy-like big with Smith, Horford and DH12), and we are in rebuilding mode again...

The link to your first trade won't load for some reason. (EDIT: it works now) We'd have a pretty sweet lineup with that trade, although Pierce & AK47 as our starting wings might be troublesome. I don't think I'd do that trade w/o Bradley involved.

Also, I don't think Howard would ever re-sign here so there is no point in trading for him.

Dwight Howard would definitely NEVER resign here...

Agree with RH on this. You try to get back 2 high level young wings in the deal, plus picks... Something like Avery Bradley + Harrison Barnes. That way you're protected if Kirilenko bolts and you have depth and defense on the perimeter. I'm sure there's a couple other guys out there, those 2 are just examples. Someone who can D up though for sure.

And preempting the inevitable WW rant... yes, picks. If he is going to bolt then you trade him. Unless someone comes offering Evan Turner for Derrick Williams (still holding out hope), get back some talent. I'm probably (definitely) undervaluing Love here... but it's so sketchy whether he comes back in shape and can shoot... eh. The window is closing and if Lord Adelman's role is reduced, then...
