Well Barea & Pek played well and Ricky had a decent game, but everyone else played like crap. CunningHAM couldn't make his money midrange jumper that he seemingly never misses and ended up 6-18. Doesn't look like there is a lot of energy out there from some players, they probably sense that this season is on the verge of being over. Shved has hit the rookie wall hard. The only person in this organization who wouldn't stand for losing a bunch of games in a row and hitting rockbottom in a season where we are supposed to make the playoffs is Adelman, and he's away from the team right now I'm sure Glen and Kahn don't give a rat's ass, as long as people are still going to the games. It wouldn't surprise me if Adelman retires after this season.

Welp... looks like that game sucked.

Also, Terry Porter's rotations and in game management suck ass. Not on a Wittman/Rambis level of suckitude, but still. Adelman can't come back soon enough.

There is something about having that go to guy on your squad that is just necessary, particularly in time-limited basketball (24 sec clock). It's like having a default gateway in networking technology. I don't know what to do here, so... here. You shoot it. Love isn't the greatest guy in the world to fit the bill but he's something. Shved can be but he's too skinny and too hot/cold. Barea is the best guy on the squad but he gets into hero mode and stops passing and everyone else just watches. Probably beats the alternative though... It's why, even though guys like Kobe, Paul Pierce, and Melo drive me nuts at times, their teams play better on the whole with them. They have something in the playbook when the playbook runs out. We totally lack that, and when Adelman is gone the playbook runs out much sooner in the game.

Other teams' announcers respect (and fear!) Pek and try to add to his legend. Typically, you get the obligatory "Non" reference. Not always interesting, but the one point of enjoyment in the Dallas game was when they started to wonder if Pek was going to start using laser beams from his eyes. Oh that is good stuff about Big Pecker. I noticed that sleeve last night and was wondering. "Some trees and an eagle" hahahahaha, classic.

There was this segment on Wolves Weekly last night where Dave Benz was all asking Peko about dating and girls. He gave a lengthy, blabbering, somewhat unaudible response. It was great. To summarize he basically isn't into it over here, and won't marry an American girl. As a follow up Dave said, "So you just haven't met anyone that special" to which Peko replied, "Oh, some are special". Lolz.

Also, I just saw Adelman leaving the downtown Target store. He looked more like a disheveled old man than a multi-million dollar NBA coach. He was definitely in his own world. Damn
