Wolves Record: 17-21 :(
Last Game: 96-104 loss to Hawks

I can't believe the season isn't even half over. The NBA should go to a 70 game schedule or something, I don't think I can make it through the rest of the season. But anyways, the Nets have been playing well ever since Avery Johnson got fired. Wolves lose again.

-CW & Tod Murphy tied for closest (off by 13) and get 2 TPs each

-Flash was closest on challenge #2 for 1 TP

-Flash, CG, Murphs & Tod Murphy all tied on challenge #3 and get 1 TP each

-everyone who picked the Hawks to win gets a TP

Game Challenges

1. Correctly predicting which team wins the game is worth 1 TP.

2. Guess which player scores the most points in the game and guess how many points that player will have. 2 TPs for guessing the player, 2 TPs for guessing their points, 1 for closest.

3. Guess the wolves rebounding differential for the game (will be positive if they have more rebounds than the Nets, and negative if they have less rebounds). 3 TPs for guessing, 1 for closest.

I've been talking about reducing the schedule for years now. It is absurd how long it is, with so many games sandwiched so close together. No wonder there are so many injuries and players are so fatigued some games. Can't blame them one bit. As I said before, they should play the teams in their division 4 times, and should play the other 26 teams in the league twice each (one home and one away.) That's a nice total of 68 games. Looks pretty perfect to me.

Oh and yeah, we're gonna lose.

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

2. 24 for Gelabale

3. + 14

HAHA, the Nyets think this streak matters. They can't win in the playoffs with this team.

I'm not so sure. They have solid, established players at every position. The only teams in the East that are clearly better than them are the Heat and Bulls (if Rose comes back anywhere close to 100%). They aren't a contender, but they are dangerous none-the-less.

I have to agree. While this may be biased due to all of the Wolves' injuries, you have to believe the quality of play would improve significantly. There are just some games, eg....teams playing their 4th game in 5 nights on the road...such as that Houston game (although MVJohnsonBale made it a Wolves game of the year candidate)....that end up being complete jokes.

No chance unless Porter correctly plays Johnson and Gelebale 35+ minutes each.

Nets 100
Wolves 85

2. Lopez 28

3. +8

Bonus - for his 3rd game in a row...MVJOHNSON does not miss a field goal...retaining his perfect efficiency.

A small glimmer of hope for the worst 3rd quarter team in the NBA is that the Nets aren't much better for the season or recently. So maybe we hang in there longer than usual.

On the other hand, Brooklyn is playing well in the 4th, and of course the Wolves are not. Not to mention that I am sure they remember our 4th quarter butt-kickin' comeback in Brooklyn that they are ready to revenge.

Yep, obviously agree with you here. 4 games in 5 nights is just freakin absurd, regardless if they are home or road games. And I don't have anywhere near the time to watch all these games so closely together. I'm sure I'm far from the only one.
