One trade the Timberwolves should be making before the February deadline:

The Timberwolves need to make a play at J.J. Redick. J.J. is rumored to want to leave Orlando, and Orlando will be willing to part with J.J. if the right deal was presented to them. The Wolves are in dire need of a shooter to spread the floor for Ricky Rubio with Chase Budinger out another month, and Redick would be the perfect fit for our team.

We've talked about wanting JJ Redick around here for quite a while now. He'd be a perfect fit for us.

Otherwise, they just really need to trade Williams before it's too late. His value could be decently high right now (at least, higher than the rock-bottom that it was before) with K-Love out.

Long as they get rid of williams and dont get a shoint in the trade, mad dog is happy...

Man a lineup with Ricky, AK, Love & Dwight would make a lot of sense for me!

And Dwight lately said, he's not interested in geographical reasoning anymore, but in winning & I think he hates beeingunder the zoom all the time, + with AK & Ricky we have 2 really good defenders an board (one of the many reasons he's not happy in LA...)

Adding some 3pt-shooters via FA (like Morrow, Jones, Boobie Gibson, Gary Neal, Rody Buckets - even Bellinelli, Babbit, Delfino & Barbosa are o.k. 3pt-shooters) or (and) hard-nosed Wing-defenders (like Corey Brewer, Tony Allen, Stephen Jackson, DeShawn Stevenson, Matt Barnes) and this could work out pretty well...

I also would consider a Love + JJ for DH 12 trade!

And we still would have max money left... So we could ad a David West, Carl Landry or a Josh Smith,
or we could go out and try to trade for a big fish...

Man you got to be kidding. Howard is gone this summer if the Wolves trade for him. In a vacuum, he makes sense. If he ever gets healthy and in a halfway competent system, he'll turn back into a more athletic Mutombo.

Problem is he's a primadonna child. He'll grow up eventually and dominate the league somewhere. It won't be here, he's too immature.

Let's just offer max money to Zaza Pachulia instead.
