I'm not kidding... this is honestly getting ridiculous. These two people (with a small baby!) just moved in like two months ago (we live in a townhouse/apartment type thingy.) They are directly below us. Everytime they smoke weed we can smell it. I can smell it right now. They smoke weed 3-5 times per day, every day. At first it was like \"Whoa! You can totally smell it!\" and now it's like \"Uggh... again, god that smell is strong.\" I'm not knocking weed smokers, but this is getting ridiculous!

As I said, they smoke 3-5 times per day, like clockwork. These are the three guaranteed times they smoke:

- 6:00-6:30 AM
- Around 5-6 PM
- 12:00-12:30 AM

Usually more, but rarely less. I mean... whoa. How is that possible? How can people smoke THAT much weed every single day!?!? I'm honestly perplexed. How can they do anything?!?! How do they have jobs?! How do they take care of a baby that is less than freakin 1 year old?!?! Wouldn't that get expensive??? Wow.

Isn't it the thing with all drugs (soft as well as hard ones) that once you have taken them over a years you reach a stage where you need the drug not to get high but to get normal again, being able to maintain a life everyone of us becomes unable to get along with when we take the same drug?

Maybe your neighbours have reached that stage and only smoking the weed three time per day enables them to maintain control of themselves and their life?

I'm just guessing, because my experience with weed stops at \"uuuh man, I get a serious headache just smelling it\"...and I do smell it often, because at the floor below my office at University, there are the offices of the chairs for philosophy. And you won't believe how often they smoke...eehm...maybe you would !

College Wolf:Maybe...like I said I do not know much about weed. But it's like this after years of alcohol consumption the same as with Heroin or Cocaine, so why should there be a difference? When you have taken it for too long, than you will need it just to stay normal instead of getting high...
Actually, I am not that sure that the Professors are the ones that smoke, but their assistants surely do. And the only thing problematic with that is, that the University is a general \"non-smoking-area\". But when they do it in their offices...they are employees of the university after all and their Professors (-> their boss) seem to have no problem with it. So who want's to be the squaler? Besides...it would only affect the situation as much as if they were smoking a simple cigarette, because the possession and usage of weed isn't forbidden in Germany.

So basically I just shake my head, utter some curse about the scatterbrained wannabe-scientists below and continue my work.

And yes if their smoking some stuff like I have it's expensive (50/60 an eighth). Say an eighth every 3-4 days if they smoke 3x's a day, 100 bucks a week or 250-300 a month.

In the modern age pot smoking is everywhere. In high school I use to meet with friends parents then go downstairs and see my friends(if u catch my drift)! Before that I was unaware of just how many people do indeed smoke. I have plenty of friends that smoke everyday. They ALL have jobs and most are extremely intelligent, who would've guessed. I think it affects people in different ways, which is why some are so against it. Cause for the most part the people that do smoke everyday do it for a reason. There's plenty of shitty things that happen in life and some just need that ability to kinda forget about those things and relax. Or I know a buddy's uncle that smokes to up his appetite, he has cancer. If I smoke it's before I go to bed, I lost my younger brother to a car accident at 4am and instead of waking up to a phone call from my parents in a dream about it I simply just don't have dreams anymore and it's better that way. The weed either doesn't allow me to dream or simply doesn't let me remember what I dreamed of.

My advice CW tell them you know they puff you'd just appreciate it if they did it by a window or went outside. Tell them you have a small child as well and you don't like him having to smell it either. If that doesn't work, I'll take a couple 100 dollar bills and break some knee caps!!!

I'm guessing by CW's post that they're gone now.

I actually have a close friend that is a heavy pot smoker, but even he only does it at most once a day (which I thought was quite a lot anyway).

I had never tried it until late last year, and one cookie messed me for almost half a day! It was interesting for sure but not something I would have any interest in doing regularly.

Although, us all being Wolves fans is probably at least one justification.

And for the record, I have NOTHING against ANYONE that smokes pot. Nothing at all. It was just annoying smelling it all day, every day. And I felt truly bad for the small child they had. Not cool.

I hear ya. Some people that don't even smoke LOVE that smell though... I would've been having a chat with my neighbor if it was like that. Especially with my child in the house!
