I am personally working on a costume of Charlie Chaplin as the Tramp. If it works out as well as I hope it should be quite impressive.

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Halloween? Sorry, but this is the most annoying of customs the big companies have (partly successful already) tried to re-import to Europe. As if we don't had plenty of annoying customs, both own and shared one, already that cash in big time for the companies.

By the way: Today is a national holiday here in Germany, we celebrate the reunion of western and eastern Germany 1990. Somehow a similar holiday to your 4th of July.

Gotcha.

Do you have fireworks? Do you have to work today? Just curious...

P.S. I do agree that Halloween is becoming very commercialized. I've never been a huge fan of it.

Yeah, we do have fireworks, but it's not sucha big deal as with your independece day. Near to no one does anything private, but there are some huge fireworks organised by the communities...although again, mostly only in the big cities.

But yes, nobody in Germany has to go to work on that day, except for the usual victims that also work on other national holidays or Sundays: Doctors, Cops, Pilots, locomotive drivers and so on. And I was in my office as well. As a research assistant, you do not care that much about what day it is. Sunday, national holiday, Christmas...doesn't matter. The work needs to be done NOW, I'll get my freetime when it is done.
