Well Taken 2 sure isn't gonna win any Oscars or anything, but I still enjoyed it. And I liked it even more since I had a free movie ticket for it! Not bad, but not as great as the first one of course. I will say that the pacing seemed a bit off. A little rushed at parts.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

So Looper was a good-looking and engaging movie, but there were there a lot of plot holes. Even for a sci-fi movie. Still... I like sci-fi and it wasn't a bad movie (all things considered.)

Maybe give it like a 7 out of 10 or so rating? I could be persuaded to maybe lower my rating a little bit too. But it's not like I was disappointed that I saw it. Cool to see in the theatre, rather than renting.

I thought Looper would be better than that.

I saw Land of the Dead. It's a decent zombie flick. 6/10

I mean, it was still solid. I think I also just had too high of expectations going in...

Also, for what it's worth; the first half of the movie was pretty great. After that though, not nearly quite as great.

Yeah, not bad. I've certainly seen worse.

I recently watched the newest Rambo again. Ohhhh man, that movie is sooooooo badass. One of the best action flicks for sure.

Went to Argo. I thought it was good but not great. I wanted to see the Denzel flick or 7 Psycopaths, but we got to the theater way late so had to go to this one. I could see to a certain extent why people said it was so good, but to me it was underwhelming. There just wasn't a lot of action, more suspense. I guess in my eyes, not that much really happened. I expected it to be a 3-3.5 on my 1-5 scale but it was probably more of a 2.8.

Yeah, I've heard it was decent but I don't really have a desire to see it in the theatres. It's definitely a Redbox movie.

I also really want to see 7 Psychopaths too. That movie is great I've heard.

I saw Flight yesterday (the Denzel one). I only saw a preview and didn't read what it was about. It was NOT what I expected. The previews made it seem like an action thriller and the IMDB brief synopsis made it seem as such. It was about a pilot and his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction.

That being said, if you enjoy a good drama and enjoy Denzel you will like it. I thought it was good despite some ridiculous plot advancements (John Goodman's role...he was hilarious, but the ending scene and his role in it is a bit over the top/unrealistic).

If you are an action-only fan you will not like it. Pretty heavy movie, bit I enjoyed.

Screenrant really liked Flight. I dunno if I'll see it in the theatres or Redbox it. Probably just Redbox it, although Denzel is my favorite actor.

Finally watched Pumping Iron, which I have wanted to see for a really long time but for some reason never watched. Pretty good I thought, and interesting. And Arnold is the man of course. He will always be one of my favorite actors. He's so charismatic, it's no wonder he won so many competitions and at such a young age. Those dudes from the 70's look waaaaay better than the hulking goliaths of bodybuilding today. :S

Too bad the movie wasn't longer though... apparently they had shot over 100 hours of footage for it. Here's a link that works fantastic if you want to watch it:

Watched Casino Royale because it's James Bond and it's awesome. The Blu Ray comes with a free movie ticket to 'Skyfall', so I had to get it. Can't wait to see the new one, but CR is definitely awesome as well. Great 'reboot' for the franchise, no complaints here. A solid 8.5 out of 10 from me. It's definitely one of the best Bond movies, imo.

I watched Quantum of Solace again, in preparation for "Skyfall." It was actually waaaaay better than I had remembered seeing it in the theatres 4 years ago. It was infinitely better watching it directly after CR, as it's basically a continuation of that movie. While it's not as good overall as CR, it's still an above-average Bond movie. And I actually think Daniel Craig is a better portrayal of Bond than Connery, although it's very close. Plus big screen + Blu Ray + loud surround sound = awesomeness. This movie definitely delivered in the sound, special effects, and enjoyment facets.

I used to think Pierce Brosnan was awesome as Bond, but looking back, "Goldeneye" was really the only good Bond movie he made. It wasn't his fault, as he was a passable James Bond, but those other movies' scripts, plots, and editing were just ridiculous.

Connery is easily the best Bond. Daniel Craig comes in 2nd.
