Still sucks. In case any of you were wondering.

Never did I think I would have 3 finals, 3 7-page papers and 3 take-home tests in 2 days.

If I was legal, I would definitely be getting drunk tonight. But, since I can't..... binging on ice cream will suffice. :side:

College...........

is awesome. Cherish it.

You went away to college, though, didn't you?

Big difference. More freedom. Less parents.

I'm with CW. College sucks for two weeks at a time twice a year, but I miss being able to hit snooze or just saying \"eff it\" all together and ditching out on class.

Not so when you're out of college.

Parents or not, follow CW's advice and cherish it.

Maybe it's just my major or my classes, but if you ditch classes you actually get points deducted off of your final grade.....

Apparently I picked the wrong school. OR career.

Really? All of your classes? Ouch. In 7 years, I never had a course like that in undergrad or in my post-undergrad education.

That does suck, then.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Love the freedom, love hitting \"snooze\", loved skipping class, loved drinking any night of the week without getting lectured by adults.

Great times.

I only had a couple of classes like that... three or so I think.

Thank goodness.

You don't really need to go to class anyways. Also, in the \"Real World\" grades in college are so infinitely overrated it's not even funny. All you need to do is graduate. Seriously, mark my words. I should have studied even less than I did.

Sleeping until 10:30 or later 5 days a week...playing Madden or NBA v. buddies for at least 2 hours a day...getting drunk 3-5 times a week...having only 15 hours of real obligations each week...staying up until 2AM every night...puffin on herbs occasionally...hitting up the bar or parties with a crew 12 deep...drunk chicks...having your parents still pay for some things...working 5-10 hours a week...drinking contests & games...intermural basketball...ahhhh, those are some of the things I miss about college. College sucks?? I think not.

All that stuff Bonk listed rocked. Going home on holidays with a bag of dirty laundry and getting a home-cooked meal and free laundry service. Looking forward to seeing high school friends on break. A THREE MONTH BREAK FROM OBLIGATION! Plus, I forgot about this one:

Unlimited work-out time. I used to be a freaking comic book hero in college with the amount of time I had to lift weights, play basketball, play racketball, run, etc. If I want to work out now, it's either up at 5 am or else get home, work out, and eat at like 9 pm.

Same exact situation with me. Sucks so bad. I miss that a lot.

I was devastated the day I graduated from college. I knew the best part of my life had come to an end. People are so happy cause they're done with school and don't have any more tests. They seem to have forgotten that working 40 hours a week is a lot worse than spending 4-5 hours a week studying for tests - if that.

Those were the days...

Well said.

Man, this thread is getting depressing... :(

That's what all of my friends say. Apparently it has to be my major.
Yeah.... you can miss like 2 class periods without getting in trouble.
But, yeah it sucks. Most of it is practical stuff -- things I actually have to do in my job. So it makes sense, but still sucks.

Didn't we talk about this before?? The specific program I'm in requires a 3.2 GPA or higher. That's over after Spring semester. Then college will suck a lot less.
