I stumbled onto an amazing television show about two weeks ago in the midst of writer's strike boredom - Jericho.

I'd seen the promo's during NFL game on CBS, but never even thought to give the show a try. I'm not big on CBS dramas. I only decided to give it a chance because I heard that the few fans who did watch the show pitched a huge fit when it got cancelled - so much that they actually brought the show back.

Let me tell you, it's incredible! I'd put it only behind Lost at the moment, which is my favorite show of all-time. The good part is that you can watch every episode online at cbs.com. I plowed through season 1 in just under 2 weeks. The show is coming back on Tuesday, but there's still time to catch up.

Trust me, the first few episodes can get slow at points, but then it just takes off an never looks back. Also the video quality is really poor for the first few episodes as well, but eventually gets crystal clear.

Watch this show. I promise that you'll be glad you did!

If I didn't already watch/DVR so many shows and sports I might give it a try... but I highly doubt I'd be able to catch up anytime soon. :(
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I'm glad you're watching \"Jericho\", but perhaps if you'd watched it when it was on the air last year (like I did) then the show wouldn't have needed thousands of its fans sending bags of peanuts (an allusion to a line in a late episode by Skeet Ulrich's character) in to network officials to even bring the show back for this belated run. The show had already been cancelled until that outpouring secured it a temporary reprieve. I am not a fan of any reality shows and with the writers strike, I find a great deal of TV to be a waste of time. So, welcome to \"Jericho\". Maybe we can keep it on the air. Its sort of a \"Red Dawn\" for the current time.

Yeah, I wish I'd have caught on earlier. Part of it is the marketing job that CBS did. I honestly had no idea what the show was about when I started watching it despite seeing probably 50-60 promos during NFL games.

Nowadays so many shows get cancelled, it's almost not worth watching unless you feel there's a really good chance it will stay on the air. That's why I didn't pick up on Friday Night Lights until just before this season and I'm doing the same with Jericho.
