The plot just keeps getting more and more twisted every episode. To anyone that watches Lost please help me sort this out..

So is Sahid a bad guy now? It is revealed that he is indeed one of the Oceanic 6 (Sahid, Jack, Kate, and Hurley so far) and in the future flashes he is going around assassinating people that are on a \"list\" that he receives. At the end they show that he is working for Ben, who is telling him whom to kill.

So is Ben now working with the survivors against an unknown enemy, or does he once again have something on the survivors so that he can once again blackmail them. Ben says to Sahid \"you want to help your friends don't you?\"

How does Ben know everything about everyone and why does he have at least a couple dozen different passports?

All I know is those people from the ship are definately up to no good, they have some hidden agenda. Or maybe they are actually good and Ben is just mind f***ing everyone as usual.

I have a feeling this will just keep getting more twisted and won't start sorting itself out for at least a couple seasons. I heard they have already written up through episode 100.

The writers of this show are definately smoking some good ass Cali bud to come up with the shit that they do.

Please post your theories here, I would like to hear them.

Yeah, tonight's episode was absolutely amazing. I thought the first two episodes were a bit of a letdown, but this one got me amped up for the show again.

I honestly have no idea what's going on and can't even begin to try and put the pieces together. The awesome part of these flash forwards is that they reveal only small part of the story and aren't in any sort of order. It's kind of like watching the movie \"Memento\".

All I know is that the people writing this show are geniuses. The way they twisted this show around not only completely saved it (can you imagine if they were still trying to get rescued and solve the \"mystery\" of the island for another three seasons?) but has made it more intriguing than ever.

It just stinks that there's only five episodes left before they run out of new episodes thanks to the strike.

In my quest of searching the internet for the meaning of Lost, I have come across some theories that are excellent. There is one theory out there based on mirror matter that explains pretty much everything in the show. It's a lengthy read as it extremely detailed but it's worth it. If you've got some free time I'd recommend reading through the whole thing.

mirrormattermoon.blogspot.com/

I've also come across a few minor theories, one suggesting that Kate is not in fact one of the Oceanic 6 but possibly that a few of the survivors snuck back to wherever they're from without the fanfare and publicity. This makes sense because Kate was convicted of a murder and also explains why she chooses to meet Jack in the flash forwards at a place with no one around at nighttime. So I'm thinking that her and Sawyer and maybe a few others got off the island without the rest of the world knowing about it and are just laying low.

Yep this show is the shit.

This is all confusing as ****! I have no idea what you guys are talking about.

I watched most of the first season and that was it... started missing episodes and then never got back into it.

How are they still lost anyways? Just get off the island already!
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Lindelhoff and Cuse are going to shoot at least 4 more for airing in April/May. If ABC allows them to let the season run into the summer and they can keep the cast together (a lot of cast members have other projects), then they want to shoot the remaining 8. If not, they will be integrated into the remaining two season. In any event, I have read that, including the 3 episodes aired this season, we get 48 episodes to the end.

LOST is the best show I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of TV. No show has been this compelling for this amount of time. Roughly 70 episodes have shown. None have been \"bad\" or \"unwatchable\". Most (like 60) are \"Good\". 8 are spectacular and 2 episodes, the Walkabout one where they show Locke in the wheelchair, and Desmond's deja vu, time travel episode, are the best episodes of a TV show I've ever seen.

I'm sure you know about it, but I love riding the LOSTPEDIA wave.

I'm willing to place bets that Michael is Ben Linus' guy on the boat. Harold Parrineau's name is already in the credits, so it's clear Michael is coming back.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! I bet you're right about Michael. I know he's coming back and that would make a lot of sense!

By the way, I loved the mirror matter explanation of the show. That by far is the best explanation I've heard for the show and actually makes quite a bit of sense. I would not be surprised at all if that's what was actually going on.

Yea that's a good theory on Ben's contact on the boat. I never even thought that it could be Micheal. I knew he'd back sometime though..

But yea I'm officially on the mirror matter theory bandwagon. I'm sure it's not dead on but a lot of the points that he makes have to got to apply, i'm sure of it. It just all fits together so nicely and really works with hints and easter eggs that the producers have dropped by something they said, on the show, and on the websites.

- The fact that a character from Lost has the same name as an author that wrote a book from which this guy who wrote a book on mirror matter and physics.

- \"In an ABC interview Damon Lindelhof said: 'Somewhere just outside the Crab Nebula is where it will all end, geographically.' Take a look at the cover of Foot's book on mirror matter. The title and Foot's name are just outside the Crab Nebula.\"

- There is a huge foot (mirror matter author Foot)on the island.

Many others he cites which I can't remember, but it sure does seem to piece together nicely.

If the mirror matter theory isn't what the actual explanation is, then the writers should quickly change things around. I can't imagine a better explanation.

This one's at least grounded in \"scientific\" theories, although they do seem a bit crazy to me. To just make up something like \"this is the afterlife\" or \"psychics are messing with their heads\" or some other random explanation wouldn't be as valid or as satisfying.

The mirror matter theory lives on! Nothing that happened this week contradicts the theory, and also supports it.

The helicopter never arrived at the ship, as the theory states it shouldn't be able to \"switch over\" without an electical storm or by submarine. The previews for next week show them flying directly at a thunderstorm.

I should have never read that website, I now fully believe it has to be close to the real Lost explanation.

Yeah I have to admit, reading that explanation has slightly tainted the show for me. Everything that's happening makes total sense when you look at it through the eyes of that theory. Kind of ruins the \"mystery\" a little bit.

However, the writers still manage to make my jaw drop. The final scene blew me away tonight. I'm usually good at predicting surprises and writers can rarely shock me, but I never in a million years thought Kate's child would be Aaron!

I did think that they were making it a little \"obvious\" that Kate was pregnant with Sawyer's baby. You would think that they would normally make that type of thing the surprise at the end - that the reason Kate went off the island and risked prosecution was because she would have died on the island being pregnant. That would be the standard, easy-to-predict ending that most writers would throw out there. But really, using normal logic, the baby had to be Sawyer's right? I was watching the ending... seeing the predictable blonde haired boy... I love you mommy...

And then in my arrogant \"I've figured this out\" moment I spoke Kate's words with her - I love you too, James... WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT!

They totally got me! For me that was the 2nd best shocker in Lost's history. With #1 obviously being last season's \"We need to go back!\" ending.

Yea that totally caught me offguard. I knew it wouldn't be Kate's baby though because when she's with Sawyer she says she knows she's not pregnant.

Why doesn't Jack want to see Aaron?
Does Jack know that he is Aaron's uncle?

Does this mean that Claire dies? that sucks I kinda like her.

You know the scene where Miles speaks with Ben, I don't think he is actually blackmailing Ben. When Miles says to Kate I want 1 minute with him, I think that he needed to be with Ben to use his psychic abilities to \"read\" Ben.

Anyways, so many questions, I want answers!! I think one of the next episodes is Sun's flash forward.

I just figured that she told Sawyer she wasn't pregnant to test the waters and see his reaction. When he said \"Yeah, that would be horrible! Imagine us with a kid!\", then she saw his true feelings and decided to not tell him and deal with it on her own.

Yeah, I figure Claire's got to be dead... Or then again, maybe she's not. Actually I bet she's not. Think about this... Claire was told that her baby could not be raised by \"another\". Maybe that's Kate. Maybe Claire let Kate take Aaron because she wanted him to have a better life and not live on the island or something to that effect. Maybe the reason \"We have to go back\" is to give Aaron back to Claire? I don't know, it's just a thought. There's definitely a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up with that theory - like why Claire didn't just hop on the helicopter herself, but it fits with some of the other stuff that's happened.

You might be right on the Ben/Miles thing. On the other hand, he was clearly all about the money in the flashback. It could be as simple as that or it could just be another ruse to throw people off track.

These past two episodes have been phenomenal!

Wow what an episode, I thought Desmond was a goner there for awhile. I think it's safe to say that the island is definately on a different timeframe than \"normal time.\"

In the mirror matter theory they say that for every 23 hours on the island, 24 hours pass in \"real time\" So this episode would somewhat contradict that judging by the helicopter flight vs. time passed on the island, but it is a TV show and i don't think the mathematics need to be perfect.

That crazy dude on the boat that died could definately have been Ben's source?? or micheal could still make an appearance, who knows.
