Wow I didn't even realize that they had aired the final 2 episodes of The League before Christman and that Adrian Peterson is in the season finale! I need to watch these ASAP.

The newest episode from tonight... I think the writers are just making up all this utter nonsense as they are going along. Just absurd.

No I stopped watching it. I might watch all the episodes I missed at some point, but probably not. Yea, The Americans looks decent, I'll check that out for sure.

Ugh, lame ending to an even lamer season.

Well I finally got around to watching The Newsroom. It's a decent show with occasional moments of greatness. I kind of like it and hate it at the same time. The (at times) forced dialogue and try hard acting gets on my nerves, as well as all the cheesy eye-rolling situations that Allen Sorkin probably thinks are brilliant. I'm sure his middle-aged female viewers eat that shit up. Also Maggie is possibly the worst character on television, even worse than the mom from The Killing. Her and Jim are obviously a direct ripoff of Jim and Pam from the Office, except really annoying and not funny at all.

Other than that, the premise of the show is actually really good and all the stuff that actually pertains to the show's plot is top notch. Don't confuse my mostly negative post with thinking the show is bad, it's not. It's just not at the top with the handful of best shows on TV.

Oh, I almost forgot about the theme song which is absolutely terrible and like 2 minutes long. If I'm not able to skip past it, I'm on the verge of committing suicide by the time it's over.

This Maggie chick definitely drags the show down. Not only her acting, but her character. It's a waste of time in the middle of a compelling show. I just keep waiting for jeff daniels to blurt out a Dumb and Dumber quote. He is great.
