Is there anything I can change in my profile or setting to increase the speed of the forums? At times they can be brutal slow for me and if I check other web sites everything seems fine. Are there other skins or whatnot I can try?

Not sure if there is something that can be changed but figured it can't hurt to ask.

The forums go nice and fast for me. I use FireFox. Hopefully you aren't using Internet Explorer as your browser? If so, that's 99% of the problem right there.

That happens to me too, not very often though. When it does happen, the forums move at a ridiculously slow snail pace. Like back to the days of dialup internet.

I get that a lot. Dial up speedage. Plus if I try to open a couple threads at the same time, I get timed out about 40-50% of the time.

But other websites and forums are zooming open for me if I check them to see if it is my side of the interwebs.

I wish I knew what to tell you. I sometimes have 15 or more tabs open, with multiple being the TWB forum, and yet it just hums along nicely for me. Is your computer really old?
