I'm making a Celtics game thread for every playoff game, weather I get any participation from anyone else or not! I'm pretty sure Derok, College Wolf & The Daddy (& the baked man, if he honors us with a visit) will be with me, and hopefully some others will be as well...

- So stoked for a Celtics playoff game...KG is back in the playoffs after a 4 year absence, and is more confident, focused, & determined than ever!! Bring on the Hawks!

C's - 106
Hawks - 85

I can't imagine the C's not winning this game by double digits. They are going to be so amped and focused and prepared... I hope I am right!

Wow... great idea. I like this. I will try to post comments if I'm around a comp after each game.

PREDICTION:

C's 111 - Hawks 88

Completely agree with you on Game 1 being a blowout.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

I got a front pager going on Garnett and the playoffs. Hopefully this section of the forum will be just as active as our Wolves section now.

As we predicted, it was utter domination:

Yeah, the Celtics were just swarming them on D and nailing their shots. It was truly a case of the men vs. the boys.

I love the way Rondo & Powe both stepped up big and played like beasts in their first playoff game ever. Man, it was fun to watch. Everytime I watch Rondo I just love him more and more.

I also love how the Celtics just spread it out and share the wealth so well. It's like Pierce is hot in the 1st quarter, keep giving him the ball. Then Rondo hits like 3 straight buckets. Then in the 2nd half, Allen catches fire & scores 10 straight points. Then Rondo starts feelin it and hits like 3 buckets in a row. KG is just sprinkling points in now & then. Powe & Perkins sprinkle in some good D, electrifying jams, & intimidating blocks. Cassell & House come off the bench & hit shots. Posey comes in as a great glue guy. And on and on it goes. Damn. I just love this team!

Dominant. And to look at it objectively, I'm not sure the C's played exceptionally well. KG and Perk began the game overly excited and made stupid fouls, taking the interior defense out of the game. The PGA tour shot pretty poorly from the field as well.

However you look at it, I'll be flabbergasted if ATL wins a game.

I enjoy watching this team waaay too much.
