Game 5 of the Celtics-Hawks first round series returns to Boston, where things weren't pretty for Atlanta. The Celtics didn't exactly come blazing out of the gate, but they built a lead that they ended up never relinquishing. Tonight's 25 point win was the largest of the series, putting the Celtics steadfastily on top at three games to two. It's just myself, College Wolf, flying solo tonight, so Episode 5 will be a bit shorter for any of you ADD types out there. Listen as I break down tonight's game with the usual expert in-depth analysis, as well as all the action from the other playoff series' from around the NBA.

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

The most disgusting play tonight was when Horford fouled KG and he stayed on his knees hanging on to his life until they called a flagrant on Horford.
The replay showed no hard contact at all. I've never seen KG flop like that before. He must be getting old. Horford was steaming mad and I don't blame him.

I would tend to agree with you. I mean, there is a *chance* that something truly affected KG, but I couldn't see it. That was kinda out of character for him.

It was nice to see the Celtics win like they did. The Hawks weren't playing badly at all and still lost big. Paul Pierce looked like himself again.

I thought it was ironic that after we'd chatted about all the annoying blocking/flopping stuff and how it negatively affects games Joe Johnson had to sit for a huge chunk of the first half after getting a trivial blocking foul at the 3 point arc.

I have to say. If Chris Paul appears to be graduating into elite star status during these playoffs Josh Smith is graduating into star status. Joe Johnson has kinda been the top dog on that team based on the fact that they traded so much for him and he is the most consistent scorer. If the Hawks are going to become solid contender it is going to be Josh Smith as the alpha dog, Horford as Mr. Inside and Johnson as the solid 3rd option.
