It's a new series, everything is back to scratch.

Boston 102

As Roundhouse stated in another thread, I think Boston matches up great with Cleveland. Also, the Cavs are NOT a fast breaking team like the Hawks.

Celts 97
Cavs 88
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Cavs 89 Celtics 80

Celtics could possibly have a let down after emotional series win...

James could go for 40

Celtics 76, Cavs 72

Wow that was one of thee ugliest games I have seen in quite awhile. I guess that's what you get when there is a Twolves reunion on the court.

Alumni of the Historic Twolves Dynasty

KG - 28 pts, 8 boards

Sam I Am - 13 pts

Wally - 13 pts

Joe \"5 1st rd picks\" Smith - 2 pts, 3 boards

Non Twolves

Lebron - 12 pts, 9 boards, 9 assts, 10 TO, 2-18 FG

Pierce - 4 pts, 6 TO, 2-14 FG

Ray \"worthless\" Allen - 0 PTS, 4 boards, 4 TO, 0-4 FG, IN 38 MINUTES

The \"Big 3\" really stepped it up, oh wait Pierce and RA got outplayed by the likes of Wally, Cassell, and Joe Smith.

I didn't think I would ever say this but I think Mike Brown actually has the coaching advantage. Doc Rivers has no idea what he's doing. I'm fairly confident 95% of the members of this forum could outcoach Doc.

You all are being generous. That game was absolutely the worst playoff game I've EVER watched. Ray Allen is either losing it or just plain sucked. Pierce was just terrible on offense. It would be silly to say he was just bad last night, he hustled his a$$ off guarding Lebron and playing team defense.

Rondo played great in the first half. Sam cleaned it up for him in the second.

Mike Brown has some thinking to do. Guarding KG effectively will require two defenders the remainder of the series. However, with Doc, he may just go back to spreading the ball and not working it through KG. Ben couldn't guard Garnett at all. Joe Smith did a Yeoman's job though. Ben shouldn't get off the bench. Put Varejao and Joe on him. However you slice it, KG dominated in the clutch and hopefully it lifted a monkey off his back, enabling him to more confidently do this during the remainder of the playoffs.

Well said.

Maybe all the haters will back off a bit now, but I doubt it. Granted, he's probably going to have to be consistent in the clutch the rest of the playoffs before he gets his due credit... but I think he can do it. Especially against the Cavs crappy post defenders.
