I am going to surprise some people probably...but even if the Celtics lose all the road games and win all the home games, that would equal a championship...hence making KG a true champion...

Amazing... TWO good posts in regards to KG. That surely deserves a Howl.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

LOL......keep looking through those shades. Should we talk about hypocritical statements again? Until they learn to win on the road, imo, they cannot win it all. Unfortunately for all their fans, I highly doubt that they will learn that playing in the ECF against Detroit or in the finals if they continue to win all of their home games. I can pretty much guarantee that Boston will lose a home game in either the ECF or the finals. If not, I am sure there is a record for the most home games won while losing all road games on the road to the championship.

And I can pretty much guarantee that Boston will win a road game in either the ECF or the finals. It's the same difference.

Exactly...

Honestly, I am getting these stupid threads mixed up. But, as I said in the other thread, Boston needs to win on the road in order to win it all.

You cannot prove any points by basically pointing out the same fact that I used to start the argument. If they learn to win road games, they could win it all. But, it is a long shot if they cannot.

Yes the Celtics have played like crap on the road, but this is a team that was 31-10 on the road during the regular season. It isn't rocket science.

I'm expecting a quality series going 6 or 7 games. I have my fingers crossed that bad shooting isn't the story.

It's not rocket science but the C's haven't figured it out yet here in the playoffs.

People forget how much match-ups matter. Detroit had a tough time with a hard nosed 76ers team. Outside of maybe a 1 game hot shooting night I don't see the Piston's getting much more than 90 points in any of these games.

If either of these teams gets real hot shooting they will win, but I'm guessing it will be a defensive struggle with the odds going to the home team and the luck of the bounces

87 - C's
79 - Pistons

From Detroit's schedule
Wed, Dec 19 @ Boston W 87-85
Wed, Mar 5 @ Boston L 78-90
Sat, Jan 5 Boston L 85-92

NICE prediction! Final score was 88-79. Well done!

KG & Pierce were the best 2 players on the court last night. They both had great games, and if they continue to play like that throughout the series, they are going to be near impossible to beat. Props as well to Rondo for a big 2nd half. This was a very encouraging win. It looks to me like the C's are getting their swagger back, right when they need it most.

Have to give credit where credit is due...KG played a heck of a game last night...I may need to be changing my name on here soon:blink:

How about RA4LVP? Everytime he touches the ball I either run to the kitchen for a knife to end my suffering or pray for the sweet release that only death can bring. It is agonizing.

Anyway, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that the C's could continue their run through Pierce and Garnett. I'm sure they sat down with Doc before the game and decided they each would shoulder the load and assume Ray's head would still be up his a$$. I thought KG in particular played a poor defensive game. even an average defensive rotation would have knocked off a handful of easy Detroit buckets. He was far too worried about Sheed, who felt inclined to sit on his hands all night.

Gotta love the visual pics on that...LOL

I was watching the game via the game cast so I did not see the actual game...

I don't know what's happened to Ray Allen...pretty sad actually...

My guess is that he is injured and/or reaggrevated something concerning his legs/ankles. As you all may or may not know, Ray had the double ankle surgeries last off-season, and Doc did his best to run him into the ground this year... playing him nearly 40 minutes per game the first half of the season.

Out of everything that coaches did throughout the year that pissed me off the following were at the top of the list:

3. Randy Wittman....being alive.
2. Avery Johnson sitting J. Kidd.
1. Glen playing Ray Allen 57 minutes a night.

What a waste of a coaching opportunity.

3. Isiah not putting Randolph at PG so he could show off his mad handles
2. Isiah not playing Nate Robinson at C to put the cherry on top of their season
1. Isiah being fired. Whenever I would get down on the twolves I could just think about how we're not the Knicks

That's fine. Your list is better.
