Man, with another loss tonight, they are really struggling lately. I haven't seen any of their recent games other than short highlights, so does anyone know what's wrong? Is it their bench?

I fear that this recent losing swoon may be the straw that breaks the camel's back in regards to bringing in Marbury (if possible.)

Part of me would hate that to happen, but part of me would be very intrigued as well. I'm not entirely sure yet what to think.

All I know is that they are not nearly as invincible as they were the first 30 games. That's probably not a horrible thing though so that they don't burn themselves out before the playoffs. I think they'll be in good shape, but they really, really need a solid backup PG and C.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Here is one thing that has been driving me nuts this year:

Doc continues to play Big Baby more or the same amount of minutes as Leon Powe...even though I think POWE is >>>>> Big Baby. I'm gonna check the stats....

Yep, it's as bad as I guessed.

Powe: 15 Minutes per game, 54% FG, 88 FTM, 4.0 boards, 0.6 blocks, 6.8 PPG.

Davis: 16 Minutes per game, 37% FG, 37 FTM, 3.0 boards, 0.2 blacks, 3.7 PPG.

What the *&$%?!?!

The Celtics and the Wolves are diatomically opposed. The Celtics cannot win while the Wolves win and visa-versa. I expect that once this easy streak in the Wolves schedule is over we'll see the Celtics ship righted.

That has been oddly fascinating since the trade...

As an avid fan of the NBA from the late 90's through the mid 2000's, it's gut wrenching to watch KG, The Dream, Ray Allen, AI, Sheed, Finley, Shaq, Payton, Kidd, and even Duncan lose either all or a bit of their dominance from their prime. I am disgustingly bitter when I watch CP3 or Deron Williams and all I can think of is "Kidd and Payton would hoop these dudes five years ago." I fear The Celtics may be catching a slight case of KG and Ray's declines. Perhaps not. Either way, they aren't so invincible right now and will have to add a piece or two to bring home the trophy this year. Tony Allen isn't quite good enough to be a whole lot to the team. Eddie is Eddie. Powe needs more minutes. Blah, blah, all problems I wish we had.

That is a good point but try and be a fan of the NBA since the late 80's. I watched a commercial of John Stockton the other day and realized just how bad the NBA has gotten lately. Two things that will never be as good as they once were the WWF and the NBA.
