Do links work now? This is a link to a story about what is next for KG. Also on the front page of C's Blog is a somewhat interesting one about Ray Allen.

I have a hard time seeing him go anywhere else. Boston at a reduced salary. I think that team still has another year left in the tank before a long ass, potentially awful, rebuild (which would be started by a Rondo/Westbrook swap...capped off by a Kevin Love signing in 2016....followed by this site shutting down for good)

Dream of course would be for him to come back here. I wouldn't call it impossible, just improbable.

I bet he resigns with Boston for two years at $20 million.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

It'd be mind blowing if he did anything else. I think 3y $33m. He bought himself that 3rd year with the playoff run he just had.

I think the KG return only is even a figment of our imagination if Glen sells the team. Still I think the near run to the finals killed that dream. Boston should keep KG at least until the end of the PP contract (2 more years).

I don't see how they can't at least keep him through the PP contract. It would be stupid of them not to (assuming KG will give them some sort of discount on the contract.)

They can't just have Rondo and PP... that would be a waste for the organization and the fans. They need to keep the guys they have (well, Ray Allen can go since they have Avery Bradley), and add with their draft picks to supplement them. They should be able to get some nice pieces to help out their core at #21 and #22 in the draft.

Yes, nice call!

And congrats to KG and all of us who can enjoy him not hanging it up quite yet.

Thanks for those posts, FatherBigBags. I especially loved the KG soundbite one. Garnett interviews are the best. I am glad we are guaranteed 3 more years of KG in the L.
