Can the Celtics play much better? They are absolutely DESTROYING the teams they should destroy and are putting solid beatings on the good teams. I am officially on the KG for 3rd place MVP bandwagon because is only playing roughly 25 minutes a night. because they are cruising to victory, spreading the wealth, and resting their stars, nobody even has a chance to dominate the stat board. KG is feeling like it's 03, Pierce is in a zone, Allen is wettin the net, Perkins thinks he's Marcus Camby, and Rondo thinks he's Tony Parker with hops. It would be a great game to watch on TNT if Houston can beat LA on Sunday and whoever they play tonight to keep their streak alive to play Boston. If both teams play next week on their streaks, who would lose? If Boston wins, KG4LVP wouldn't be able to stomach our KG/Celtic man love comments. If Houston wins, vice versa...except KG4LVP's comments would be strictly KG haterism. I would be shocked if Houston gets through both LA and Boston. Impossible.

Well, I'm willing to bet Kobe is sitting in his living room watching Sportscenter right now, listening to everyone pump up Houston. He is chuckling and sending a text message to Lebron telling him he's gonna have to step up the sub 30pt game he just played against the Wiz because Houston is going to have a problem. He is probably predicting 40+ right now, and is salivating at the chance to end this streak.

I think they lose to the Lakers and follow that up with another loss to the Celtics. I think if they somehow manage to beat the Lakers, the confidence will help boost their chances against the C's. However, winning both is still incredibly small... even if the games are in Houston.

I have to agree with CW that the Celts will lose one of those brutal road trip games, but they're playing some inspired ball right now and they're deeper now.

I don't have the opportunity to watch much SportsCenter anymore, which really sucks, but I still think this Houston team could win out, then lose in a 7 game series to pretty much everyone who would be in the playoffs if they started today. One of the biggest reasons for that is the coaching in the Western conference. If you give Jackson, Sloan, Popovich, D'Antoni or Nelson the opportunity to play that Houston team, they will all adjust faster than Adelman. I like what they're doing right now, though, and they're a pretty likeable team all around. I think he can outcoach Byron Scott and Avery Johnson, though. If it started today, they would get the Mavs. That's a series I wouldn't be gambling on either direction.

I'm still sticking with my Jazz pick.

I can't wait to watch the playoffs this season.

Oh man, and CW & I, along with 4 other buddies are going to be in Vegas on April 24-27, which is like the 2nd weekend of the playoffs. Some big $$ will be getting thrown down on these games by the 2 of us, which is cause for even more excitement...

Awesome. My first time ever in Vegas was the first weekend of the NCAA tourney back in 2001. I was also there during the TWolves-Lakers Western Conference finals. Really fun times.
