UPDATE: This is going to create one of those uniform nightmares with Josh Howard. Are they both just \"Howard?\" Sometimes teams will make one \"J. Howard\" and let the other one be \"Howard?\" Can we squeeze entire first names on there too?

Howard made a sweet move signing with them. He has a chance at a ring now. One he truly deserves,

I bet it will go: \"Jo. Howard\" & \"Ju. Howard\"

Honestly... I thought he was gonna sign with the Celtics, since he \"wanted to play with KG soooooo badly.\"

BonK is probably right with his \"Jo. & Ju.\" assumption. It will look really weird on the jerseys. Maybe they should just print the forenames on the jerseys, that would not look half as strange...imho.

I also hoped that Howard would sign with the Celts, making them an even higher favorite to win the East (at least), but this is also a very smart signing for the Mavs. If one thing has shown during the last two playoffs, than it their glaring need for a low-post player and a relieable second option at PF besides Nowitzki, who is still more of a SF in my opinion. With Howard back with the Mavs, they can either use him to spell Dirk or put them together on the floor to play a nice little inside-out game with the two guys.

So probably I should be very happy...but for some reason, I like the Mavs by far not that much as I probably should or as much as many of my pals do. I have a little sympathy for them, because Dirk is one of my kin and because Cuban is hillarious, but in my personal rankings...there are at least five or six teams above them. I guess I am not a guy that likes to jump on any bandwagon...just because some German guy that I have never met plays somewhere, I do not suddenly grow some \"pseudo-love\" for that team.

It was the same when Michael Schumacher went to Ferrari in the Formula One. I despise Ferrari as a team (like I despise all Italian teams, no matter in what kind of sports) and that will never change. But somehow, near to everybody in Germany was dressed in Red and yellow came racing day. Well, I guess I despise \"bandwagon jumpers\" even more than Italian teams!

Haha, the jokes on them both because while they stabilized their championship run by switching out Mbenga and Buckner for Hassell and Howard we saved a ton of money not only by switching to Geico but by trading junk bonds with the Spurs...
