I've heard 2 trade rumors lately, both of which make sense and I wouldn't be surprised if they actually happened.

Bulls trade Ty Thomas and Jerome James to the Knicks for Al Harrington

I really like this trade for the Bulls. Ty Thomas is going to be a free agent and will get paid more than he's worth. Not to mention he's a headcase. Al Harrington is super underrated in my opinion.

Clippers trading Kaveman to the Pistons for Tayshaun Prince

I like this trade for both teams actually. The Pistons are thin in the post, the Clippers have a glut of post players and want Griffin & Jordan to get plenty of minutes. The Clippers are thin on the perimeter while the Pistons have many perimeter players and want to get Daye more playing time.

Also Kaveman is from Michigan while Prince is from LA. This trade makes sense in every which way.

Why does it mean they are giving up on Al Thorton? Don't understand that. There's plenty of minutes to go around. The only players that would lose time if this happens are Craig Smith (once Griffin is healthy) and Rasual Butler.

Giving up is too strong but with that trade their 3 most prized players would be were Thornton would get minutes. He certainly moves out of their "core".

That Harrington trade would make a lot more sense if the Knicks had a first round pick next year. Thomas would be a better fit with the Knicks that it is for sure but I can't see giving up their best player for a guy who has flopped so far. They have to care a little bit about this year's fan experience.

I like both those trades. They both make sense to me. If anything Prince can be a mentor to Thornton. I don't think it means they are giving up on him since Prince is getting up there in age. Also, they have enough big men already when Blake gets back, plus Kaman has a big contract.

Clippers have Camby, Kaman and Jordan who can play center. Camby is a FA and is old. Jordan is putting up 2.9 ppg/2.4 rpg. If they trade Kaman it could be Jordan and junk at C next year. I'd say the drop from Kaman to Jordan is way more than Price to Thornton.

The only reason Deandre Jordan has those stats is because he only gets leftover minutes behind Kaman and Camby.
