So I was in Branson, MO cooped up in the Hilton on business this Monday. I had no idea what I was going to do all evening, when I realized I could order NBA League Pass for $8 per night. Sold. And boy was it ever a great night to do so!

I went & bought a 12er of Miller Lite, ordered a pizza, and had a one-person NBA viewing party for a good 5 hours, and it was everything I hoped it would be, and more.

I started off watching the Knicks/Jazz game, and watched it during any Wolves timeouts/halftime/a bit of the second half. It was a great game, in which the Knicks were on fire all night, and beat the Jazz by 4 in a high scoring, firey game. My thoughts:
- For some reason I love watching the Knicks. It may have something to do with me loving good post play, and Eddy C & Zach both have a great post arsenal.
- Balkman is AWESOME. He's like a skilled/gangsta Mark Madsen. He is so energetic and fun to watch. Mr. Intangibles.
- David Lee is such a solid role player. I really like his game.
- Memo Okur is shooting 38% from the field...for the year?!?!
- At one point during the forth the Knicks got a standing O, and the announcers said it was their first of the whole year!

The Wolves game obviously rocked. You guys know what happened. Highlights for me:
- I can't believe i am starting to really enjoy Antoine Walker. I have always hated him. There is something about him. He's so entertaining. I even picked him up on my Western Conference Keeper Fantasy team. And I thought he was gonna do the wiggle after his tip-in at the end of the game! What a tease!
- Marco, Marco, Marco. Wow. I swear he could've easily dropped 40 if he would've applied himself a little more. That was maybe the best performance I have seen from any Wolf all year. AWESOME.
- I still think Telfair has the potential to be a pretty damn good PG in the league.
- Less then 9,000 in attendence?? That is just sad.
- We played MUCH better when McCants was on the bench. Coincidence? I think not. When Marco, Bassy, & Buckner were in, the ball movement was wonderful.

After the Wolves game, I got to watch the last half-quarter of Washington upsetting Dallas at home. That was a big suprise. I don't have many comments except:
- Antonio Daniels always seems to thrive when he gets big minutes.
- Haywood looked like a beast
- Hassell looked bad
- Stackhouse is looking TERRIBLE this year
- Avery Johnson's oldschool hairdo is money.

After that, it was 10:00ish, so I turned to the Kings/Spurs game and watched most of the 2nd half of that game. The Kings beat the Spurs?!? yes, it was true, and it was electric. My thoughts:
- Mikki Moore is my favorite non-TWolf role player in the NBA not named Ronnie Turiaf.
- Those Maloofs are SUCH GEEKS. It is fun watching them go apesh!t and give the players high 5's and stuff though.
- Beno Udrich lit it up. He was the MVP of the game. That sentence sums up the weirdness that this game was.
- It was fun watching the passion the King guys had and how pumped they were. Artest & Moore were sooo fired up. Not to mention the announcers!

I watched a big of the Magic win over the Blazers during the commercials, but there is really nothing to report from that game.

HOWEVER, once the Kings game was in the bag, I turned to a tied Clippers/Rockets game at the beginning of the 4th quarter. It was a SHOW. It seriously went from being tied 61-61 so the Rockets being up 20 in a matter of minutes, pretty much ALL because of TMac. The most amazing thing was that Houston ran the exact same set EVERY TIME DOWN. TMac on the left elbow, posting up whoever (Ross, then Maggette, Thomas for a few plays), isolated. If they doubled, they would rotate it or TMac would find the open man. But most of the time, double or not, TMac would just shoot, and score. Over and over and over again. Same set, same play, same result. Swish. I don't know if any of you saw the SCenter highlights or not, but it was amazing. Props to Adelman for going to the same play over and over. He was on fire, and no matter what he did they couldn't stop him. It was a show.

For some reason, the Warriors/Suns game wasn't on?? Why is that? The Celtics/Cavs game wasn't on the next night either. Anyone know why that is?

Regardless, it was a GREAT night to order league pass. Man, if I had league pass in my house, im pretty sure my girlfriend would dump me.

The End.

Hahahaha wow... that was awesome! I knew you were watching games but I had no idea you got that much NBA viewing in. I'm jealous. Selective night League Pass is hella cool. I like watching the Knicks too. No idea why. Maybe because they have so many characters on their team. Stoked to watch the Knicks-Celtics tonight.

I have no idea why some games wouldn't be on league pass. Very weird and very lame.

I still can't believe you picked up Toine in our keeper league. Wow... :woohoo:
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Suns/Warriors and Celtics/Cavs weren't on LP because they were on NBAtv. Come on, I know this and I live in Europe ;)
