What worse deal could their be? Both Jamison and Butler can be moved at the snap of Washington's fingers if all they want back is expiring contracts. Both guys should generate a mid-level prospect in return.

Seems like the open shopping of Ray Allen is playing with fire. This is a team that is veteran and still in it's window.

Yea the Wizards could trade Butler and/or Jamison to half the teams in the league if they wanted to just take back expirings. Apparently the sticking point on the Jamison to Cavs deal is that the Wizards want JJ Hickson but the Cavs don't want to include him in a deal. So that right there shows the Wizards aren't just looking for expirings. This rumor has no legs.

Agree with Roundhouse. Lots of teams would give up solid young players and draft picks for Jamison OR Butler. No way they give away both for basically nothing.

I don't see how the Cavs don't get Jamison. The Wizards have to break first on that deal, as the Cavs have the advantage. They shouldn't give up Hickson, but should still be able to work out something for Jamison.

Butler to Phoenix or Houston makes a ton of sense for those two teams. The Wizards could still get a nice deal from either of those teams as well.
