Interesting trade rumors in Marc Stein's Weekend Dime.

Love the idea of Bosh to Houston! They're my fave non-Wolves team...that would make them legitimate. Imagine, albeit next year and if Bosh resigned, Bosh + Yao! that'd be tough.

But as mentioned it'd take a lot of contracts to make this work...seems to be the deal breaker.

The next player mentioned in this article after Bosh is none other than Big Al. Although the article goes on to say this is just heresay, and no major trades will happen until this off-season, I wouldn't be surprised if Kahn pulled the trigger if something appropriate was put on the table.

Who would that be?

My guess would be the Warriors. As someone stated last we played them; they're front court is paper thin. Big Al and Stewie for Anthony Randolph, Biedrins and their first round pick?

Any other teams or players you guys can think of that would make sense?

A deal that seems inevitable, imo, is Boozer to the Bulls for Salmons & Tyrus Thomas.

Another would be Jamison to the Cavs for Big Z.

Anways, should be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks!

Good stuff. I like NBA trade talk and rumors, as long as it isn't stuff that some random person is just completely making up.

Bosh would be awesome on Houston and I'd like to see that. I really like Houston.

I don't see why GS would want Al. Love would be amazing for them, but not Al.

Boozer won't be back in Utah next season, that's all I know. I could see him playing with D-Wade (and LeBron???) in Miami.

I can't believe Jamison to the Cavs hasn't happened yet??? It seems like the most sure-fire trade in years.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Larry Bird joined the Pacers for their road game in OKC today, which is an apparently rare occurrence.

BJ Mullins got some court time for the Thunder, also a rare occurrence.

Coincidence? Apparently not.

What are you saying? Who are the Pacers and/or Thunder going to trade?

Latest rumblings are of Bosh to LA for Bynum.

I really don't see why LA would feel the need to do this. Bynum is young, a BIG body, and only seems to be improving.

Yeah I wouldn't do that either. Unless Gasol's injury is worse than they are telling people, they have Odom and Gasol at PF. They need Bynum at Center. There are only a small handful of people in the entire league I'd trade Bynum for if I were them...

I would do this if I was LA. Bynum is excellent when he gets going and is on a good healthy run, but Bosh is fantastic. Bosh took his game way up during the Olympics and I think being in LA will have the same effect.

I think that after half a season and a potential championship Bosh will almost certainly sign with LA.

Yeah, not bad.

The last one is bad though, why would the Hawks trade Josh Smith for Kaman? They would never do that.

The Wolves-Bulls-Celtics three way is interesting, but there are waaaay too many players involved. I don't see that happening with Kahn's comments about "no major moves" or "breaking up the core" during this trade deadline.

I almost noted that last offer. Silly. They didn't even take the time to make up bs reasons the Hawks would take it. The rest of the deals were all solid. That 3 way is pretty impressive in terms of how it works for all teams fairly (I think Boston is the team that says no first).

I've been rolling my eyes at all the Ray Allen talk. It doesn't make any sense for Boston to dismantle the big 3 right now. They've made their bed now they need to sleep in it (and it is pretty damn comfy so they can stop bitching).

Yeah I was gonna mention Ray. I don't see how or why the Celtics would trade him. He's been the healthiest and playing the best of any of their veterans this entire season.

Have you heard about the latest rumour?

Caron Butler, Antawn Jamison
for
Ray Allen, Scalabrine and JR Giddens (all expirings)

Total, freaking coup for the Celtics... but if Washington wants to blow up what better deal would there be? Huh.

The Wizards want to clear cap space so they could give Foye a bigger contract :silly:

What worse deal could their be? Both Jamison and Butler can be moved at the snap of Washington's fingers if all they want back is expiring contracts. Both guys should generate a mid-level prospect in return.

Seems like the open shopping of Ray Allen is playing with fire. This is a team that is veteran and still in it's window.

Yea the Wizards could trade Butler and/or Jamison to half the teams in the league if they wanted to just take back expirings. Apparently the sticking point on the Jamison to Cavs deal is that the Wizards want JJ Hickson but the Cavs don't want to include him in a deal. So that right there shows the Wizards aren't just looking for expirings. This rumor has no legs.
