So, I've heard more rumblings as of late about an Al for Tayshaun Prince, Pistons #1 pick (currently #5) and filler (Jerebko!) trade. I know this was brought up before, thought we could revisit it along with any other off-season thoughts.

I would do that trade. I'm of the trade Al, keep Love persuasion tho. We'd have Prince for his last year, so he'd hopefully step it up. At #5, we'd need to be extremely lucky to have Favors fall. But in reality and as of right now, the picks to choose from would likely be Wes Johnson, Al-Farouq Aminu or Cole Aldrich.

Wes Johnson would seem to be the obvious pick, but assuming we get Evan Turner at 2, and with Brewer playing so well, I think I'd pass.
And here's a crazy thought to throw on top of that: Imagine Turner at times playing the Point with Brewer staying at the 2 and Prince at the 3...

So, I think I'd trade that pick down and take Aldrich, aka Pryzabilla 2.0

Then hopefully we could resign Darko for a basket of fries and sign some length with our next picks; Epke Udoh, Larry Sanders, Quincy Pondexter, Solomon Alabi, Mason Plumlee....etc, who knows.

2nd Rd picks=trades or foreigners to stow overseas and get better.

I'd say trade Flynn if there was something interesting that popped up, but his value probably isn't high enough, but still think he's a good backup.

Here's what I'd love to see:

PG: Turner/Sessions/Flynn?
SG: Brewer/Turner/Ellington
SF: Prince/Brewer/Jerebko
PF: Love/Udoh
C: Darko/Aldrich

I think Turner will continue his point guard ways, and would love to see him and Rubio on the same team..right Flash?!

I like that trade just for the fact we get a top 5 pick that we could bundle up with others to move up to get 1st and 2nd! If that doesn't happen we still could trade down with it or something of that nature. Prince would be a decent fit for our team and on a contract year you never know how well he could perform.

It would be really nice to have another top pick in this draft, especially if we used it to trade up.

I really liked trading with Detroit at one point, but not so much now. I don't like the guys in that range of the draft, unless FAVORS is there, but I don't think he would be.

Don't think we'd be able to get the #5, Prince, and Jerebko for Al anyways. If we could, I'd do it, but just saying I think the Pistons would want more.

I'm interested in guys like Whiteside and Udoh, who are dropping more towards our Charlotte pick anyways.

Turner has PG skills, but he's not a PG. I don't think it would fly starting him there.

I really don't know what other scenarios are out there and don't have time to find them now, but I think it would be awesome if we tried offering some combo of AL, Flynn, Pekovic, Utah Pick, Sessions, & whatever else to pick up both Wall & Turner. That would be insane! And then take Whiteside or Udoh. Even if we still had Rubio in this scenario, it could still work and would be so awesome!

PG: Rubio, Sessions
SG: Wall, Ellington
SF: Turner, Brewer
PF: Love, Whiteside
C: Darko, Whiteside

Obviously we'd have more guys than that, but I didn't want to throw guys in there that would conceivably be traded to get the #2 pick or whatever.

We'd be on the smallish side at the SG & SF positions, but uber talented!

Would try to keep Pekovic just because I'd like to see what he can do but if the deal would hinge on him then do whatever needs to be done to get us Wall and Turner. I would buy season tickets.
