Yep, good KG trade huh?

How do you figure he could have been a Timberwolf? From the sound of it McHale did everything he could to get Rondo and it flat out wasn't happening.

A wasted pick
Telfair - Behind Booby on the depth chart.
Gomes - legit rotation player (who I am calling the new age Sam Mitchell from now on).
Al - Legit starter and (probably) an all star a year or two.
Ratliff - done.
Green - done.

What do you expect to get back from a HoF guy who is just past his prime? Things haven't gone great with Jefferson but they could have been a lot worse.

Look at the Santana trade. He was moved for a top prospect who didn't work out. NOTHING. Jefferson was the last guy not on the All-Star team before that injury.

When Jefferson was on the top of his game and the Wolves had a hot hand at SG/SF for a month the team won. He's never played with a NBA caliber backcourt.
