This trade looks like it will be completed by the end of the week otherwise the Nuggets are going to be shooting themselves in the foot and aren't going to get anything from Carmelo. Fans in Denver are finally booing him.

This saga needs to end. Kind of hope the Wolves get involved in some way. We could try to get rich somehow by taking Al Harrington off the Nuggets? Is that worthwhile in anyway? Probably not since Denver is getting most of the good stuff....

This reminds me of the KG trade. Getting a lot of you pieces and draft picks but it all amounted to nothing. Good that we will have a team join us on the bottom of the division.

This trade has to happen today or the latest tomorrow because the Nets are not playing in a few days and if they do play while this trade goes down and the players don't pass their physical yet, the Nets will only have 5 players on their roster.

Another thing is, I'm just wondering will this even make The nets as good as the Nuggets now? If not then will Melo even sign an extension?

I have no idea why Melo would sign with the Nyets if he gets traded there. They will still be average at best, maybe contend for a 7 or 8 seed. He should just go to the Knicks as a free agent this summer if that's really what he wants to do. No sense making the Knicks gut their team for him.

God I hope Melo jilts New Jersey. The Wolves need a franchise to be worse than them. I watched a segment of the Clippers win yesterday and with Baron deciding his two year vacation is over they look great.

Kings are horrible and worse than us. Cousins though is beasting and they very well could overtake us this next week.

The Nuggets have to do it or they get nothing but a big trade exception like the Cavs. Favors is a nice piece, hopefully, he doesn't become a monster because it's going to be bad for the Wolves.

A) Wait and basically let Carmelo go to NY for nothing
B ) Get some talent and hope they become good

Either way, they are getting screwed.

The Nyets will get screwed with this one. Basically it's all those players for Billups and Hamilton, and renting Carmelo for a couple of months. Plus, they will go in the playoffs and miss on the lottery.

Detroit will be great after this one. They will have cap space, which is nice for them.

All in all, Denver has to do it and the Nyets are blowing their future for ABSOLUTELY nothing..

BigTicket you are forgetting that this whole trade evolves around Anthony signing an extension for 3 years/ 65 million. Nets aren't going to give all that up for a 3 month rental. If Anthony doesn't accept the extension no deal.

If the Nyets make this trade without a guaranteed Carmelo extension, it will be one of the dumbest trades in NBA history.
