Also, if KLove does NOT make the All-Star game, is he able to use that as motivation to completely tear up the league next year? Average like 25 and 17 or something beyond insane? That would be awesome if that was the effect of him getting snubbed.

That's pretty much what he already is averaging.

Ok, how about 28 and 20? Would that be enough of an increase for you? :woohoo:
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Trade him and Wes for Zaza and Josh Smith! Veteran leadership! Rubio alley-oops! 1.5 blocks per game! Ill-advised shooting! Cave-man lookalikes! Use of Cap Space!

Blake's definitely getting in...

Blake Griffin made to be an All-Star

It should now be 100% obvious KLove is not an all-star. He has good stats, but that's it. He couldn't play a lick of defense if his life depended on it.

Here's how I'd rank the Western PF's that are "on the bubble" for making it:

Blake Superior
Aldridge
Z-Bo (one of my original predictions to make it. He won't, but oh well.)
Love
Duncan
Odom
Scola/David West/Milsap/Everyone else
Al Jefferson

If Randolph makes it and Love doesnt, we have reason to be crabby. If Blake and LMA make it, the likely case, I wont be as crabby. LMA deserves it for sure even though I despise Portland and its fans on near Knick/Raptor levels. Blake is fun but he will get plenty of recognition at ASW.

PS CW you forgot about Dirk. And Duncan should be out of the picture at this point.

Final call!!!! I say Love doesnt make it. Hope Im wrong. He deserves it I think just because his stats go so far beyond "good stats on a bad team." It's just at another level. A 31 31 followed by consistent copmparable performances through 45 (or so) games is a fairly solid case.

Love took his play up significantly during January in this final push to make it. It is a bummer for him that Aldridge, Randolph and Blake did as well. I'd say Love makes it 4 out of 5 seasons with what he is doing now. Much like Deron Williams for a number of years, sometimes you are in the wrong position at the wrong time.

WW: Dirk isn't on the bubble.

Nah, I didn't forget about Dirk. I consider him a lock. Carmelo and Durant too as forwards because of the voting.

hhahahahahhahahahahahahah Timmy Duncan made the team over both LMA and Love. It should have been LMA.

Tim Duncan really. He's only have his worst statistical season ever. I could see LMA over Love, but Duncan over love is just ridiculous. Wonder if the Wolves #'s campaign turned off the coaches from voting towards Love. Reason 1,954,456.42 to hate the San Antonio Spurs

I could see that campaign turning off some of the "old-school" type coaches against Love. :(

Duncan... really? Fail. Talk about a Lifetime Achievement vote. I don't care that the Spurs have the best record. Should have been LMA, ZBo, or Love. Wow. :S

Let's all predict the All-Stars and see how people do. The bolded guys are the people being voted in, so you can't change them:

WEST:

Chris Paul
Kobe
Carmelo
Durant
YAO
(but probably will be Gasol I'd guess.)

Deron Williams
Russell Westbrook
Manu
Dirk
Zach Randolph
Monta Ellis
Blake Griffin

Z-Bo is a mega baller. And he's making me look smart. Pretty sure Bonk and I are the only people I know that thought he should have been an AS this year. He got screwed...

Is Zach the best PF in the league right now? It would seem that way. He is the only solid low post presence in the league (since Al Jefferson passed away in 2009). I guess Dirk is the best but who'd have though it would be even discussed 3 years ago. Crazy.

We are at an odd time in the league for PF's. Everybody has a solid one but virtually nobody is great.
