As for your point DFS The Koufos addition to the trade, and it freeng up salary, is really our only hope to cling to right right now.

When it comes to paying Wallace's salary I highly doubt the ball is even in Kahn's court to make the trade.

I would like to get him, he is actually the only star that might resign with a team like MN too plus a good defender. But even if he does sign with the Cavs or us, I doubt it would mean many more Wins.

You have mentioned today the cavs interest in gerald wallace, why would the cavs want a 28 going on 29 year old SF? Doesn't make sense to me if their goal is to get younger.

Desperation. They haven't had a lot of success in trade talks in landing young, up and coming players. Wallace isn't over the hill at 28 and adds toughness. But you're right, it won't move the needle much.
