Anyone who says that isn't some of the best discussion to have occurred since the last episode of "Falling Skies" is crazy....
 Just wanted to make sure Roundhouse was not skimming my posts again and misinterpreting them as racist...Anyway, that was the best 20 minutes of reading/skimming I've done in weeks. great, great discussion. The analysis can go sooo many different ways. What if Timmy had to play against MJ? What if MVP awards didn't have an affirmative action quota so that Steve Nash won them? What if Timmy and Shaq didn't have awesome coaches, ownership, and teammates? For example, seeing Timmy's body now, surely he would have broken down 2 or so years earlier had he not played for the ultra efficient Spurs, allowing him to basically coast for 10 minutes a game while The Admiral wrecked shop, Manu grabbed bats, Parker f8cked Brent Barry's wife, etc. Either way, If I had a time machine, the first thing I would do (waaay ahead of stopping genocides, terrorist attacks, etc.) would be to put them against Wilt and Russell in five on five games...That would be almost as good as watching the entire Falling Skies series with Roundhouse on the couch and a bag of popcorn. |

I always enjoy doing the collaborative stuff with the other Bloguin NBA peeps. Some good, smart fellas. It's crazy how everything could be changed for any sport. Like what if so-and-so played on this-given-team during this-given-time? You know? Any great player drafted by a different team would/could change the entire course of that sport's history. That's some really high level mind-boggling shyt to think about. |
