First up, the Eastern Conference.

Call For The Hall: The Eastern Conference

Enjoy!
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Call For The Hall: The Western Conference

Surprised how many IN's were picked. I'd say Wade and LeBron are locks.
I would have voted
OUT - Billups, Manu, Parker, Peja, Grant Hill

Grant Hill is my hardest pick because he has those all star games but he wasn't good for a long enough time. Plus he devastated teams with his injuries.

IN - Carmelo

On their way with time - KD, DWill, CP3

Grant Hill has his college career though too. The basketball Hall of Fame considers all levels of basketball play for it's potential members.

That puts him IN for me.

That's a tricky one. I should perhaps note that GH was among my bottom 3 least favorite players in the league during his Piston's run.

Fair enough. I only ever give Kobe props in the group stuff like this because I basically have to. If he wasn't so good, I definitely wouldn't. I hate him.

never met anyone who didn't like Grant Hill. I should not that this fact still stands as I've never met Pants or Jalen Rose.

Beating Larry Johnson's running rebs, having a nice guy persona and being in every terrible commercial didn't curry a lot of favor with my 13-16 year old self.

I have to disagree about Chauncey. Basically all his accomplishments came when he was on Detroit. Even if he was the most important player on that team, Rip, Sheed, and Big Ben were are really good players and nearly his equal. So are they hall of famers? Big Ben is arguable, but definitely no on the other two. I don't think Chauncey has been good enough for long enough. Same goes for Ben Wallace.

With Dwight Howard's (lack of) injury history, it's probably safe to just project him in. He's going to be in even if he doesn't have sustained excellence over a really long career.

Grant Hill - I'd say no because of all the injuries, but I also don't know how much college career factors in. So I could see it happening I guess.

Manu seems like an OUT to me, not sure how 5 of 6 voted him IN. Unless they are looking to vote in more Euro players just for the sake of getting more in the HoF.

Ok the next person is Tony Parker and you guys have him IN as well? This is getting absurd. Manu is at least debatable. Tony Parker. Really!?

It is a "basketball" HOF... not an "NBA" HOF. All basketball accomplishments count.

Therefore, Manu, Hill, and Parker are all definitely worthy. I agree Chauncey is borderline, but I like him so I said Yes.

Gross. Tony Parker never going to the HOF. Rasheed Wallace was a beast. Chauncey was better than Parker. Terrell Brandon was not THAT much worse than Parker in his prime.

C'mon now guys, he's won 3 titles and a Finals MVP. That's pretty damn good right there. Plus he's young and will still be able to add to his pretty stellar career.

Mark Madsen has 2 rings. Fyck rings. The Spurs should be disbanded as a franchise. Can't wait till Manu retires. the demise of that team is great. All those years of beating the shyt out of the Wolves...
