That is just plain disgusting. $200 freakin million per year?!? Where the hell is the revenue sharing $tern???

Small market teams continue to get hosed, and things will never change in the NBA, apparently.

This is just... wrong. :(

Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Meanwhile, the T-Wolves have a $10 million dollar per year TV deal. The Bobcats is less than that, I think. The Kings also only get like $12 million per year.

Ridiculous.

Total amount of revenue shared money is $180mm right. So if the Lakers used their TV contract to foot the entire rev share bill they money left over is more than any current Wolf makes. Beautiful.

Well, it was PROPOSED to increase the total revenue sharing up to $180 million. But no one knows if that is what was finally agreed upon. I haven't seen any info at all regarding the revenue sharing component of the new CBA agreement/info.

Disgusting. :S

You act as if you thought $tern cared about revenue sharing or something? We've known for a long time that the league only promotes large market teams and individual players. As long as the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, and Knicks are relevant nobody gives a shit whether the flyover states have competitive teams.

Yep. So these teams will be able to afford the new steeper luxury tax costs, while teams like the Wolves will not. Even though I heard many writers declare the new steep luxury tax was "basically just like a hard cap" because it was so steep....ummm no it isn't. Not when some teams are making 200 milly per on their TV deals.
