The one thing that shocked me while I skimmed it was that a lot of them are saying that Tony Allen is more valuble than Gomes and/or Perkins?? I strongly disagree with that! I think even Big Baby & Powe may be more valuble than TA....

1) Rondo > Jefferson

Reading some other posts in the thread... this guy obviously isn't sober:

No, the C's lost their best young player

But they kept their second best young player - Rondo
And they kept their third best young player - Tony Allen
And they kept their fourth best young player - Kendrick Perkins

I didn't include Glen Davis but I'd probably put him ahead of Gomes too. That conclusion would require a little more thinking than I'm ready to offer at this moment in time but I'd likely take Davis over Gomes. To put it mildly, I'm not an admirer of Gomes.

Reading more... they are thinking Rondo will be better than Jefferson. I am going to stop now.

Rondo is a gamer, no doubt. But several people went so far as to say he clearly will be the better player if he wins a championship this year or next....

So then Robert Horry is better than KG, Pierce, Allen, T-Mac, Barkley, Malone, the list goes on. Moron.

Number two - Gomes would be eating TA alive if they were on the same team. This isn't to say TA won't regain his form, but as of this year, Gomes is significantly better.

Ummmm, Big Al's defense is greatly underrated, if by defense they mean wearing his own defender down by crushing him on offense and capitalizing on his man being tired on offense, enabling him to help more and get abused by someone else's man:S
