Btw. I'm starting to lose hope in Derrick Williams. Too many dumb plays.

Just "starting to"???

Oh well, welcome to the bandwagon. Better late than never!
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

All I will say about this Laker situation is that I would've liked their chances a lot more with Phil than with Mike CryAntoni.

Bwahahahaha CryAntoni. He sucks balls too. Not as bad as Mike Clown, but not a ton better.

P.S. Both those fools are named "Mike." Coincidence? Or...

Kobe Bryant was quoted yesterday as saying, "Rumors of a Lakers' demise have been greatly exaggerated!"

Like I said, I'm not going to panic until Jan-Feb.

When do the Lakers get to beat the 'Wolves?

Random NBA Thoughts:

Jeff Green's dunk on Al Jefferson last nite = Sick.

Zach Randolph & Kendrick Perkins allegedly had a heated confrontation in the tunnels after both got ejected...that's pretty funny, those are two tough, hard dudes.

B-Eazy is shooting 35% on the season. Phx won last night despite B-Eazy posting a -22 in 28 minutes. Telfair was like a +13 and had 17 points! Wes Johnson - DNP CD again!

Clippers, Grizzlies, and Spurs are looking great so far. Probably the best 3 teams in the league as far as gameplay thus far. Oh yeah, the Knicks...ugh, I haven't seen them yet. But I guess I'll throw them in there too, and the cHeat to round out the top 5 thus far.

Houston - I am very curious how their season will turn out. They gave big money to 3 guys who were never really full-time starters in the NBA. I am interested to see how good/bad Lin/Harden/Asik are and if their signings will look great, awful, or somewhere in between in hindsight (My prediction: Harden: good, Lin: bad, Asik: really bad).

I am torn on the whole Royce White thing. On the one hand, I respect how he is a deep and thoughtful guy who is trying to pave the way for people with mental illness and bring issues to the forefront. On the other hand, is he taking it a bit far and being too sensitive and kind of a diva? I also don't like how his twitter bio includes all sorts of descriptions about him, yet never even mentions anything about basketball. I get that he is a rounded person with other interests, but I just feel like he doesn't respect or care about the game. I dunno. I'd be curious to hear others' thoughts.

On Royce - hard to know without knowing the whole story. People have struggles. His responsibility is to himself of course, but also to his team who is investing millions of dollars into him. I think taking to twitter to point more than one finger at the team shows a huge lack of character. He seems like a guy who is blaming other people for his illnesses, which is a) very common, b) the wrong thing to do.

Also, if he thinks he is the only player who has mental issues, he is likely gravely mistaken. Being an NBA player sounds fantastic, but it would no doubt become extraordinarily depressing and difficult when you really sit and think about what it involves. Until White tackles his issues head on, I suspect he will continue to struggle. One will if they continue to be crazy narcissist about anything other than their abilities.

Asik has been great. Not sure what you're getting at there. He and Harden were really good moves. Lin, on the other hand, definitely not good. Especially not at that insane contract they gave him. Saw that coming a mile away.

Losing a ton of respect for Royce White by the day. What a diva.

What I'm getting at is I think he sucks and is overpaid.

Well he clearly does not suck. He's actually quite solid, to pretty darn good. Have you seen him play or look at any of his stats at all?

Asik is good, you're tripping Bonk. He is a "Bonk" player, too. Tough on D and grabs crazy boards. He has a Ben Wallace/Rodman game.

Lin look ok. I ain't watched too much of him. Houston fans are sort of "eh" on him. He's definitely not bad, but we'll see.

Royce - It is something you/we are all too far away from to judge. Some things are just better left alone and ignored. I don't fuel idiocy by him or the organization by paying it any attention. I wish him the best and have NO idea what to attribute to illness or to idiocy. So, whatever.

Derrick Wiliams for Wes Johnson

Asik averaging 13 rebounds per game and supposedly plays great defense.
