i don't understand why everyone is ripping on Brandon Knight. He's just trying to play some defense. He's like 6'1" and DAJ is like 6'11" Still a sweet dunk though.

Well, I guess I don't have to worry about my Lakers getting embarrassed in the 1st round of the playoffs anymore. Saw a pic of Kobe's ankle - he will be out more than two games - it is U-G-L-Y!

Without Kobe dragging them into the playoffs, there is no hope.

The Yahoo! note re: Kobe being out at least two games is, I think, incredibly optimistic. From what I saw, he would be better off to sit the rest of the season and let the ankle heal.

The Lakers, even if Kobe was well and they made the playoffs, would most likely have been out in the first round, barring some sort of cosmic interference. They absolutely have no chance against anyone without Bryant.

So, let's just skip the embarrassment and mail in the rest of the season. Kobe has been playing some great ball this year - no reason why he can't come back next year and do it again.

You get no argument about Stern's capabilities and accomplishments. I've commented before that of the top 10 sports commissioners (in no particular order), Stern is firmly in the bottom four, along with Bettman, Goodell and Selig. There isn't one of them worth a damn!

Kobe is going to play tonight against the Pacers

Kobe should be sitting. He's 0 for 4 with 1 board, 2 assists and a TO in 12 min played. Game's nearing the halfway point of the 2nd quarter.

Even though the Lakers managed to pull one out last night, their season needs to be over! No MWP! Nash out with a hip/thigh injury . . . . Kobe, Dwight and Pau had nice games and Blake had another excellent game in relief of Nash, but I would rather see them miss the playoffs than get embarrassed in the first round.

Somebody cue the "Funeral March," please.

Somebody tell me what's up with the Clippers? They are the most hot-and-cold team in the NBA!
