It's a lot harder to finish top 8 in a conference with loaded teams. But hey, if you are all for crap teams like Atlanta and Philly making the playoffs over good teams like GS, Portland, and Denver more power to you I guess.
If you want the regular season to actually mean something then every team should play each other twice. Once at home and once away. However, we all know the league will never do anything to reduce the amount of games played so whatever.
Leave it like it is then. Hope no one complains if/when the Wolves miss the playofs repeatedly due to being in a stacked western conference even though they may have one of the best 16 records.
