Someone from RealGM was at the game Monday night and heard \"a couple of guys cheering for Turbo\" He said it spread until a whole section was cheering for him. He was wondering where that name came from. Apparently that name came from this site as no one over there had the answer. I posted Turbo's broom dance link for them to bring them up to our level.

Yeah, a couple of my coworkers came up with it when they noticed that Brewer looked like Turbo from the movie Breakin'. I had never heard of Breakin' before and, since I barely watch any TV, I wasn't aware that Chapelle made a parody of the broom dance.

On top of the uncanny resemblence, I stand by the nickname. It's easy to say and it fits the style of game he plays.
