It's unbelievable how much the Niners suck ass this year. I never saw this coming and can't hardly believe it. It's such a shame, I was really pulling for them. They've got no help on offense whatsoever. I can't believe how TERRIBLE Alex Smith is. He's easily one of the worst 3 starting QB's in the league, and rivals the stiffs on the Vikings.

To make all matters worse, the Patriots could possibly go 19-0 and still get a Top 5 pick, since they have the Niners #1 pick in the next draft! That's really hard to fathom...

I'm guessing that the Raiders will surpass them. That leaves the Jets, Rams, and Dolphins in the race with them for the Top pick. I think the Jets could do it. Not so sure about the last two. Does it really even matter though? Depending on what position you want to draft, #5 may be just as good as #1.

The Pats are pretty well set at most of the skill positions. What do you think they'd use their pick on? Another RB? I guess if NE gets the #1 overall they'd get McFadden. That would be ridiculous!!!! WOWOWOW! Someone should stop this...

I think the Rams will turn it on in the 2nd half of the year, especially if Stephen Jackson can remain healthy. Dolphins are the worst team in football IMO. Jets can definitely find a few wins. The way the Niners played last night they're looking at a top 3 finish...

I don't care that the Pats are getting a nice draft pick... that's just shrewd management. I'm more pissed that the Niners squandered an opportunity to add a great talent to their team. That really pisses me off. They were my favorite team while growing up.

Anyhow, I bet the Pats trade the pick for additional draft picks later in the year and/or in subsequent drafts. That's just how they roll. Smart.
