Wow, they did it.

That Giants game was pretty crazy... it was waaaaaaay closer than I would have ever guessed.

Think the Pats can finish things off and go 19-0? I'm not as sure as I was earlier this year. They don't look nearly as invincible as they did at the beginning of the season. I think a team with a solid defense and a good rushing attack could perhaps beat them. The Colts and Jaguars immediately come to mind. The Chargers could possibly have a chance if Rivers plays well. In the NFC, I think the Packers would actually have the best chance to beat them. The Cowboys defense is too porous.
Question: "Hey Antoine Walker, why do you shoot so many 3's?"

Answer: "Because there are no 4's."

Yeah, I was really surprised at how tough of a fight the G-Men put up. I was never really worried, though, even down 12 in the third. Our D always holds when it matters and Tom always finds a way. As long as it was within two touchdowns I was confident they'd come back.

The Pats certainly aren't invincible. I definitely respect the Jaguars and Colts. They're the two teams that concern me the most, and with the way things are seeded, they're likely the two teams we'd have to face to make it to the Super Bowl. (Aren't 1 seeds supposed to have an advantage?) But to be the best, you gotta beat the best, so I'm up for it. If we do go 19-0 we'll have likely beaten the Colts twice, San Diego, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Dallas, New York, Cleveland, and probably either Dallas again or Green Bay. That's 9 of the 19 games against teams that should finish with 10 wins or more. Insane!

I'll tell you what does put some fear in me - the refs if it's Brett Favre vs. the \"Evil\" Patriots. Can you imagine!

Completely agree. Can you imagine how they would bill that one??? It would be horrible. The nice, good, happy, best QB ever, comeback story of the year Brett Favre against the evil Pats. God, we'd have to listen to that angle for a solid week before the Superbowl. That would drive me nuts. I definitely think the Packers would get all the calls in that matchup.

How many times did they show Favre high five the ref this weekend? They ride his strap so much. It'd be tough, but Moss would put forth every ounce he had to beat the Pack.
