haha ya that is kinda funny. I don't get why they don't put them in the game though, cuz really, they try to get everything else exact except they exclude the long snapper. I find it funny how they put those big C's out there as the long snappers when in reality they are never the ones doing it. Its like putting the backup QB at punter cuz they don't want to put the punter in the game and waste a roster spot, its not realistic.

But still funny to see an article about it.

That is hilarious. It is actually surprising to me that this is so. As a developer myself I love to picture how this came to be. My guess is at one time they programmed the backup C is the longsnapper and they were lazy and didn't get around to changing it. So the logic is better to ignore the long snappers than have them in the game and have people notice that they weren't doing the long snap.
