Tickets for the game in Detroit are free. Hopefully the homeless people of Detroit looking for some warm entertainment are Vikings fans.

That will be pretty sweet if they can get TCF Stadium up and running by next weeks vs. the Bears. Outdoor football in December on Monday night vs the Bears just like the good ol days.

This is such a perfect way to top off this ridiculous season. The worst Vikings season of my lifetime so far and it just keeps getting crazier.

Yea the whole system is bullshit. Taxpayers buy a stadium for billionaires so that they can make more money. In other countries they keep using their soccer stadiums until they are no longer safe to play in. The Metrodome is a perfectly fine building. I hope the people of MN keep holding out.

It's ridiculous that they get to walk in and say hey um we will pay for 1/3 of the stadium and the public can pay for the other 2/3? How does that make sense if you really want a new stadium how about you and the NFL pay 1/2 and then we will find ways of making the other 1/2.

I think the worst thing is that the owners expect the city/taxpayers to subsidize the new stadium(s), and then they (the owners) want to keep all the profits and revenues that it generates.

America and Europe can do some upgrades to existing stadiums and/or extensively use new facilities so it isn't quit as wasteful.
