Oh man, was that a fun game.

My roommate buys me some Southern Comfort and both me and him drink and watch my favorite team for probably the only full niner game of the season (until they amke the playoffs).

I was excited all game and taking SoCO and lime shots whenever I felt the team needed me; my thoughts:

- The offense looked pretty terrible excluding Arnaz Battle and the last 4th quarter drive (they always look terrible against the Cards though)

- The defense looked really good for the most part. Besides a bogus illegal contact on Shawtae Spencer and a ridiculous facemask call on Bryant Young (only should have been a 5 yarder) they were solid for the most part.

- Patrick Willis is freaking awesome and probably my favorite 49er after Bryant Young now.

- Darrell Jackson needs to wear a helmet that fits...he currently looks like a douche.

- I'm glad the offense came out and fought to get that win at the last drive...hopefully it gives them the confidence for next game to actually catch passes instead of dropping them.

- I have to wake up for my class in 5 hours and 45 minutes

Good stuff. I am happy about the Niners victory too! The D did a nice job of keeping Leinart off balance but could've stopped the run a little better, IMO.

The Cards and Niners are developing a little rivalry, I like it!!!

Howl for being the only person to actually respond to the awesomeness of the Niners.

Alex Smith's run on 4th & 1 was way sweet.

I'm glad they won... I was starting to wonder after Alex Smith had like 66 yards passing after three and a half quarters.

That's awesome that you had SoCo.... sooooooooooooooo smooth. It honestly goes down like candy. Ahhhh some memories lol.

I agree that the offense needs some work, but that the defense should be fine.

My favorite Niners are Bryant Young and Vernon Davis.

Props for making this post in the wee hours. Nice.
