Why would reporters think he was letting that game affect his decision... he only said one thing for 3 weeks before the game and then said a completely different thing after it. Typical reporters jumping to conclusions.

It may have sounded like it in my original response, but I'm definitely NOT a Favre fan. I'm just so sick of him I don't really care anymore what he does.
