1/19/11 Wolves @ Clippers
Written by Mike on .
Our #6 overall pick, a PG, leads the team in assists for the first time this season. He had 6.
Sigh.
@CollegeWolf Clippers crew is going on and on about how poor of draft picks Flynn and Wes Johnson have been.
Maybe it's just me, but a pass that leads directly to a foul and free throws should DEFINITELY count as an assist for the guy passing it. Why isn't it? Lame.
@CollegeWolf I've been surprised Gordon didn't finish up his night midway through the 4th or sooner. Maybe they don't want Baron and Gordon picking up Techs on the bench.
God Foye sucks. But is he worse than Flynn? I honestly can't tell. They are both so bad.
@Pants80 I don't know. Assuming Rubio comes over next season I don't see any reason to pick up his option. I don't know if I'd even want him for a minimum salary. He just sucks sooooo bad.
@CollegeWolf Does Flynn play out his rookie deal? I think he legitimately could have his option not picked up.
Awesome. Del Negro just put Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan back in since Love is still in during garbage time to keep his double-double streak alive.
On a side note, Beasley just got ejected.
How great does Jordan look btw? He went in the second round? Colossal fail not drafting him that year when we had THREE CHANCES before he was picked. Ugh.
@CollegeWolf I'm watching the Clippers booth on NBA broadband so those guys are talking about Blake's double double streak.
@Pants80 I dunno. Maybe you are right. Funny they have been talking about his double-double streak the entire second half though...
@CollegeWolf What does Love being in have to do with Blake and Jordan. I'm guessing Love is still in to keep the Wolves from getting a 30 point loss. He hasn't played that many minutes this game.
Beasley just got tossed out of the game. "That is F@#&ing stupid" - Rambis to the ref afterwards.
Are you serious Jonny Flynn? You are moving back behind the FT line while the guy are covering is outside of the 3 line?
Well we are only down 17 to the Clippers....
/hardly paying attention at this point.
I think this game officially settles the Love vs Griffin for All-Star "debate."
@CollegeWolf Love's best defensive move is his ability to draw fouls on offense.
Sad. Darko hurt his ankle on a fantastic block on Blake. To double the heart break Koufos checked in.
Gomes just hit two 3's in a row. CW's neighbors are wondering why he has his head out the window yelling STUDDDDDD!!!!!!!
This game will decide Love vs Griffin for a potential All-Star spot. Personally, I think Griffin deserves to be an AS no matter what, but apparently peeps in the forum do not agree. And I don't possibly see how Love could be an AS. He rebounds, but that's about it.
Plus the game is in LA, so Griffin gets a huge boost from that right off the bat.
