After last night's great showdown with the always entertaining OKC Thunder, the T-Wolves next home game could be another epic clash. We (already!) play the Miami cHeat, in what is shaping up to be a pretty brutal opening schedule in this compressed season. Luckily we'll have a few days off after tonight's game, before having to take on LeBon, Wade, Bosh and company. Unfortunately for the Wolves, they are a completely different team with a healthy Haslem. Too bad Mike Miller won't be playing huge minutes, because as we all know, he sucks.
TWolves Blog's ticket partner TiqIQ has a special deal for fellow T-Wolves fans: Using the ScoreBig "make an offer" feature, fans can pick their price to see Kevin Love battle under the boards. A "2 star" ticket that usually sells for $145 (after shipping and handling fees) can be had for around $99 a ticket. But this deal expires on Wednesday, so y'all need to move fast to get this special deal. To make an offer today PLEASE CLICK HERE.
@twolvesbuzztap was the c before "Heat" intentional? If so, well done! #gowolves
@kingraccoon All over our faces like a bunch of little biotches.
Oh yeah, totally intentional lol. @johndlind
@CollegeWolf so how long before Rubio starts? if the twolves really start to struggle, he'll be the only reason people come to games (hyperbole). in a town where our purple savior recently returned to the seat at his father's right hand, and Kemps Hometown Slugger (trademark symbol) is being openly questioned in the media, we could really use a new young superstar to get behind.
rubio has 'supplant KG as the #1 face of the franchise' potential.
@kingraccoon Ruuuuuuubioooooo is a stud. So legit. And he's only 21 and will only get better as he figures out the speed/pace/nuances/etc of the NBA game. In the TWB Forums we are absolutely confuzzled as to why Puke Ridnour is still starting. It makes no goddamn sense. No one wants to see Puke play. He's boring, and sucks.
We need a real SG more than Purple Jesus needs a time machine. We could easily be 3-0 right now. Eff you Kahn for not doing something. Rubio and Love are all we've got. Everyone else is expendable. I can't believe we have been re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-rebuilding for half a freakin decade now and we've got two legitimate NBA players to show for it. I can't decide if we're worse off than the Vikings or not. It's close.
We're 3-0 against the spread this year, but that's only because Adelman is awesome and a legit HOF coach (go figure, a coach that can make a difference!) He wasn't there for the Bucks game, but we were getting blown out all night long until the very end. And the Bucks suck anyways.
Give Rubio time, he is gonna be good. He and/or Love will be the face(s) of the franchise for as long as they stay on this team. Can't really blame either if/when they want to leave though.
