College Wolf and Bonk Co-KG Cast for Game 1 of the ECF,
as well as initial NBA Draft Lottery Thoughts...

Tonight:  College Wolf and Bonk

Game:  Celtics Win Game 1: 88-79.
                Celtics Lead ECF 1-0.

College Wolf and Bonk here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 11", after tonight's big Game 1 win in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Boston Celtics.  They dispatched the Detroit Pistons 88-79, in what will surely prove to be an intense and very hard-fought series... for the right to advance to the NBA Finals!  What's wrong with Ray Allen out there?  Does anyone have any answers?  KG and PP came up huge again, practically willing the Celtics to victory. The Celtics remain perfect at home, but will they be able to win when it counts on the road?  Also, we've got a special extended "Around the NBA" segment, with thoughts and analysis from tonight's NBA Draft Lottery results.  Wolves pick #3.  Much depression ensues.  Check it out~

Tonight:  College Wolf

Game:  Celtics Win  97-92.
        Celtics Win Series 4-3.

College Wolf here bringing you the "KG Cast - Episode 10", after this afternoon's Game 7 clinching win by the Celtics, over the Cleveland LeBrons.  Despite a monster game from LeBron James (45 points, 5 rebs, 6 assts), the Gang In Green was able to pull of the big win.  Led by 41 points from "The Truth", the Celtics closed out the Cavs in seven games, earning them a date with the Detroit Pistons Tuesday night... which also happens to be the same night as the NBA Draft Lottery!  Woohoo I'm ecstatic!  Will the Celtics be able to pull it out against the more experienced Detroit Pistons?  Will the Celtics be the first ever team to win the NBA Finals with a record of 16-12?  I also cover the recent games and events in the "Around The NBA" portion of the podcast.  Check it out~

Tonight:  College Wolf

Game:  Cavs over Celtics 88-77.
        Series tied 2-2.

College Wolf here bringing you the somber KG Cast - Episode 9.  The Celtics lost both road games in Cleveland, allowing the Cleveland LeBrons to come back and tie up the series two games a piece.  I've got the game recap in regards to what went right and what went wrong, in my expert, humble opinion.  Is Ray Allen toast?  Could the Celtics actually lose this series?  All that and more from Around the NBA.  Check it out.

Tonight:  College Wolf

Game:  Celtics over Cavs 89-73, Game 2.
        Celtics take 2-0 series lead.

College Wolf is again soloing the KG Cast - Episode 8.  Bonk and DeROK are both on vacation, but once they get back we'll have some more "Co-Casts."  So... you are all going to have to tough it out with me until then.  After a slow start, the Celtics came back to utterly dominate the Cavs in every facet of the game.  The 15 point final margin was closer than the game truly was.  LeBron couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, going 6 for 24 from the field.  LeBron is now shooting 8 of 42 on the series.  If he doesn't turn things around soon the Cavs are toast.  Lastly, I also go around the NBA with action from last nights games' and some other NBA tidbits.  Check it out.

Tonight:  College Wolf

Game:  Celtics over Cavs 76-72, Game 1.
        Celtics take 1-0 series lead.

College Wolf is rolling solo again for KG Cast - Episode 7.  I promise I'm getting the hang of this thing, and its definitely much better (and smoother) than my first solo podcast. The Boston Celtics took Game 1 in the second round of the NBA Playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. KG took over in crunch time, leading the Celtics to an extremely hard fought victory, 76-72. Almost all the other big stars suffered in tonight's game, resulting in horrible efforts from Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and LeBron James.  Also, I go Around The NBA and discuss last night's games, which resulted in the Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Hornets both taking 2-0 series' leads over the Orlando Magic and defending champion San Antonio Spurs, respectively. Check it out.

College Wolf and Bonk's first Co-Podcast Ever!!!!!!!

Tonight:  College Wolf & Bonk

Game:  Celtics fall to the Hawks 103-100, Game 6
        Series tied 3-3

Unfortunately we are not bringing everyone our first co-podcast under better circumstances, such as a Celtics series clenching win, but we'll have to make due.  The Boston Celtics lost a heartbreaking Game 6 tonight down in the dirty, dirty ATL to the Hawks, 103-100.  CW and Bonk have all the hard-hitting insight and analysis coming through your speakers.  It looks like the series will be heading back to Boston on Sunday.  As a bonus, we've got analysis of the last first round games, as well as predictions and insight for all the Round 2 matchups. Check us out.

Game 5 of the Celtics-Hawks first round series returns to Boston, where things weren't pretty for Atlanta.  The Celtics didn't exactly come blazing out of the gate, but they built a lead that they ended up never relinquishing.  Tonight's 25 point win was the largest of the series, putting the Celtics steadfastily on top at three games to two.  It's just myself, College Wolf, flying solo tonight, so Episode 5 will be a bit shorter for any of you ADD types out there. Listen as I break down tonight's game with the usual expert in-depth analysis, as well as all the action from the other playoff series' from around the NBA.  Hope you enjoy it!

Another game in Atlanta, another big shocker!  Despite a ferocious start to the game by the Celtics, Joe Johnson and the Atlanta Hawks were able to make not one, but two comebacks as they evened their series with Boston at two games a piece.  In this fourth edition of The KG Cast, College Wolf and I break down the action from Game 4 and ponder if Doc Rivers may end up being the Achilles Heel that keeps the Celtics from winning the title this season.  In addition to our KG coverage, we also discuss several of the other contests around the league and how those series are shaping up. Hope you enjoy it!

So things didn't go so well for Garnett and the Celtics last night, but on that bright side that means you will all get at least one more episode of the KG Cast before Boston claims its 17th title.  (Sorry if that's not much consolation C's fans...) Anyway, with CW in Vegas, I'm flying solo once again.  I'd like to say that I pulled off something special with this third episode, but it's really just a basic breakdown of the game with some other observations from around the league.  I still think I peppered in enough observations to make it worth a listen, so hopefully you'll enjoy it!

The KG Cast has returned for a second edition following the Celtics 2nd victory of the Atlanta Hawks in their best of seven series.  I appreciate all the kind comments after the initial podcast and would like to thank you all for bearing with me as I iron things out both technology-wise and with just basic "on air" performance.  I would say that the first KG Cast was a success overall, but I'm guessing most of you would get tired of hearing 20 minute monologues after a while.  Thankfully, my fellow TWolves Blogger, College Wolf, was able to join me this time around for a much more lengthy, and hopefully much more interesting conversation.  In this podcast we recap the Celtics/Hawks Game 2, discuss Mike Bibby's comments about the Boston fans, cover KG's winning the Defensive Player of the Year award, and bring up additional thoughts from the other first-round playoff series.

We're definitely on our way to making a "semi-professional" podcast here.  Hopefully we'll be there by the time the C's have sent the Hawks packing!
