Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Celtics over Cavs 89-73, Game 2.
Celtics take 2-0 series lead.
College Wolf is again soloing the KG Cast - Episode 8. Bonk and DeROK are both on vacation, but once they get back we'll have some more "Co-Casts." So... you are all going to have to tough it out with me until then. After a slow start, the Celtics came back to utterly dominate the Cavs in every facet of the game. The 15 point final margin was closer than the game truly was. LeBron couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, going 6 for 24 from the field. LeBron is now shooting 8 of 42 on the series. If he doesn't turn things around soon the Cavs are toast. Lastly, I also go around the NBA with action from last nights games' and some other NBA tidbits. Check it out.
P.S. Since the "Comment" section does not seem to appear for my podcast posts, please feel free to head into the forums and comment in those threads. All people are welcome... as are any thoughts/suggestions/"helpful" critiques.
Tonight: College Wolf
Game: Celtics over Cavs 76-72, Game 1.
Celtics take 1-0 series lead.
College Wolf is rolling solo again for KG Cast - Episode 7. I promise I'm getting the hang of this thing, and its definitely much better (and smoother) than my first solo podcast. The Boston Celtics took Game 1 in the second round of the NBA Playoffs against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. KG took over in crunch time, leading the Celtics to an extremely hard fought victory, 76-72. Almost all the other big stars suffered in tonight's game, resulting in horrible efforts from Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and LeBron James. Also, I go Around The NBA and discuss last night's games, which resulted in the Detroit Pistons and New Orleans Hornets both taking 2-0 series' leads over the Orlando Magic and defending champion San Antonio Spurs, respectively. Check it out.
College Wolf and Bonk's first Co-Podcast Ever!!!!!!!
Tonight: College Wolf & Bonk
Unfortunately we are not bringing everyone our first co-podcast under better circumstances, such as a Celtics series clenching win, but we'll have to make due. The Boston Celtics lost a heartbreaking Game 6 tonight down in the dirty, dirty ATL to the Hawks, 103-100. CW and Bonk have all the hard-hitting insight and analysis coming through your speakers. It looks like the series will be heading back to Boston on Sunday. As a bonus, we've got analysis of the last first round games, as well as predictions and insight for all the Round 2 matchups. Check us out.
We're definitely on our way to making a "semi-professional" podcast here. Hopefully we'll be there by the time the C's have sent the Hawks packing!
I'm very pleased to annouce that today marks a monumental moment in TWolvesBlog history - our very first podcast! Ok, I'll admit, this probably isn't the finest audio production on the web, so it's probaby not that "monumental". (Personally, I'll take any label above "incredibly embarrassing"!) Anyway, I decided that with my limited amount of time to pound out full length articles detailing KG's quest for the title, I'd have much better luck actually speaking my thoughts, and thus the "KG Cast" was born. In this very first edition I talk about my thoughts on KG joining the Celtics, make a few observations on the actual game, and then wrap it up with some thoughts about the weekend's other playoff contests.
Hopefully, I've been able to churn out a decent effort for my first podcast. I'm sure it will get better as time goes on and I get used to talking out loud to myself in my basement. It's definitely a strange feeling at first! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the first edition of "The KG Cast"!
